Ok, roster looks fairly complete, so let's assume we are done with all or most of it now.

So how many wins to you expect us to get this year?

You've got 50 days for the poll if you want to wait, but poll setup to where you can change your vote.

We have so much youth, so little time.

I think the first half of the season is going to be nasty. Hill is by far the most serviceable veteran on the books. Taking a look at our vets.

Hill
Temple
Carter
Randolph
Kosta

Add WCS too I guess.

Well I'm not seeing a whole lot to work with here, at least when it comes to wins.

What I do like is our youth and potential depth.

Assuming Fox rallies the bench, I think we can run the ball real well and have some good athletic bigs & shooters possibly depending on who starts.

I'm going to peg us at 17 wins.

Now its entirely possible Joerger really does a fantastic job. I believe he could, and maybe the development staff really gets our young guys ready early.

Anything more than 20 is going to be on the coaching staff and hard work of the young guys.

I'm gonna go with 24 and think we end up around 5-6 in the lottery. I see some people on the GB predicting up to 38 wins for us with a lot of predictions in the mid 30s and I really just can not see that at all. I imagine plenty of growing pains for the young guys and many rest/injury games for the older guys.

Edit: I'll add that I think we have a stronger first half of the season than second half. I think we'll start the year (relatively) strong and then start to bottom out around January/February or so.

This is probably a good guess seeing as the last 1/3rd of the season after the DMC trade we were able to get 8 wins. I went for north of 25. The vets will help. The group that played that last 1/3rd of the season will be back and more seasoned. If Fox and JJ play up to the potential they have flashed is SL then we will benefit. Then there's the wild card "BB King" (=Bogdanovic). Will he be more "jazz" than blues? I guess we'll see.

I'm leaning towards 28 wins for the season. 7 in the opening third of the season, 12 in the middle third and 9 wins on the home stretch.
I'm not entirely sure where that will put us lottery wise, hopefully top 3-4.

I got us pegged at about 28 wins. I think we will have some ugly games, but I think some are highly underestimating what good chemistry and coaching can get you. The end of last season showed us that this team could play together. They didn't have much talent to work with at that time. Now the talent is upgraded and this young team is going to be motivated to beat expectations and the great talent in the West.

I see our opening day roster as follows:

Hill (30) - Fox (24) - Mason
Hield (28) - Temple (18) - Bogdanovic (16) - Richardson
Carter (24) - Jackson (10)
Skal (28) - Randolph (22) - Giles
WCS (30) - Koufos (16) - Papagiannis

That's a pretty solid roster with lost of grit and hunger scattered throughout.

I'll put them at 27 wins. Top 7 lottery pick. Wendell Carter or Miles Bridges range (as of today).

I see 20-22, as the West has got better this year. Everyone will need patience

I went 16-20 partly out of hope to get Porter and partly because I'm not sold on Buddy, Skal and Poppa G. I also think Fox has huge potential but has to grow as a point guard and be able to set up his teammates more. (See Lonzo).

The wild card is we have no idea how Bogdan translates. If he plays as well as Vlade says I see him starting over Buddy and the team winning 5-10 more games.

28-54. Assuming George hill stays relatively healthy. If he doesn't all bets are off as to how many they could lose. The west is so good that even pretty good teams are gonna struggle to go .500. The kings have virtually no shot at competing for a playoff spot this year. Just too young. But they've got enough decent young pieces that surely a few will pan out for them in the long run

I gotta go out on a limb here and it's based on the overall attitude that is obviously prevelant now, the vet additions and the simple fact that Joeger took a team that actually had less talent than this to the playoffs just two seasons ago and he is not the type to tolerate intentional loss.

I've got us at 31-51. The Veterans and Joerger are going to will us to a few extra wins. Hill made a big difference for Utah last year, Randolph and Vince can still play, Temple is a pro every night. WCS should be riding hot after last third of the season. I expect Buddy to make a huge jump as well.

My biggest concern is Skal not doing what we expect from him.

Line me up with CoT. I'm around the 27-28 mark, but 28 already has enough votes.

26 feels right. I'm new to the Kings board, but have been following the team with embarrassing scrutiny for a while now. Time to give in and embrace my fandom.

29. Probably optimistic, but it's hard to guess with guys like Z-Bo on the team, and what the true goal of the season is. Are we going to tank, or focus on growth no matter how much (or little) statistical success we achieve?

One thing I'm confident about is that it's going to be fun to watch.I'll take losing while playing the right way over winning while playing the wrong way.
