Cousins returns to Sacramento. Interviews with The Undefeated

Kings guard Garrett Temple said he believes his ex-teammate will be playing with a chip on his shoulder Thursday.

“I know my guy, and I love my guy to death,” Temple said. “Cousins is going to try to take our heads off. I don’t expect anything different. He felt a certain way about being traded and the way he got traded. He may say he got past it because that’s the politically correct answer. Knowing ‘Cuz,’ he’s not past it.

“That’s the way it is. He plays with a chip on his shoulder. That makes him who he is. He said that? OK. I don’t believe him.”

Yep. There will be blood. I even expect a few glances at Vivek (if he has the balls to sit courtside).

As if Vivek is at fault for Cousins refusing to run back on defense.

Cousins has always had a chip on his shoulder. It will just be bigger. Might have a crazy game where he goes off for 50 or could be a turnover machine and get in foul trouble.

I’ll always root for Cousins despite my belief it was best to trade him, not only for Sac but for him too. I’d expect a standing ovation with a gesture from the organization thanking him for his time here. With that being said, I hope the outcome of the game is far from what he wants coming back to the Golden 1 center.

Now it's Willie's time to make up for all those beatings he probably took in practice.

I wouldnt count on that. Cousins is straight balling right now he's in one of his stretches of playing good ball. Kings best chance is to pray Randolph can turn back the clock and get physical with Cuz.

Couldn’t care less about this dude now. The fans nearly always stood by the guy even tho he has one of the worst on court attitudes in nba history and cost us games due to his refusal to get back on d and regularly taking plays off. Good riddance.

I got the over/under on Cousins points total at 31.5. Place your bets.
