I hope I'm wrong but the more and more I watch Buddy, he fits in the mold of a streaky shooter/scorer.

Was wonderful to see a competitive first.

About all I can say positive besides Buddy scoring some tonight.

Sort of.

He was pretty poor with New Orleans, great for 2nd half of season Sacramento the previous season and poor overall so far with Sacramento this season.

He’s not put in a position to succeed. He’s is never going to be a go to number 1 option but he’s capable of being a 2/3 option of put in a position to succeed.

IMO, this is a bad shot distribution for the Kings.

I don't think Fox should be leading the team in FGA/gm.

I don't like seeing Z-Bo that high in the list either.

If anything, I want to see more of George Hill higher up in the list.

Last year with the Jazz, Hill was 2nd in FGA/gm behind Gordon Hayward. Hill scored the ball extremely well (17 ppg @ 60% TS).

It should be a 3/4-way attack of Hill, Buddy & Skal/Bogdan.

In all honesty, there isn't a clear-cut #1 option on offense.

The shot distribution should be balanced, imo.

Personally I'd like to see that shot chart trend upwards numerically for Fox, Hield, and Skal as time goes on. Shot distribution on this team can't really be judged yet because the shots everyone is getting are so inconsistent. It's fairly haphazard when someone finally does shoot. There's very little purpose, a lot of wasted motion, and very little identity to the offense right now.

Also it is unwatchable, which makes it worse

I thought Fox was shooting better than he is. His fg% must have dropped the last couple games.

Fox seems to play well against teams without a good point guard. Houston seems to be an outlier.

At some point this season I am sure the kids will be given the run of the place.

It's still early in the season so any singular bad game can have a major impact on anverages. His usage has been strange, much like the other players. Some games he's used entirely differently than others. Later in the game, when it's out of hand he seems to be given the ball and is able to just go. Other times he's play as a spot up shooter at SG, or in some other odd role.
