Lately Skal has mostly been giving the bench fits for some reason.

As soon as we slow down the pace, NY makes their run. Just keep running!

Porzingis makes the game look so effortless.

Until they see if Fox, Buddy, and Bogdan can play well together as a core unit and the backbone of the Kings play making I don't think the Kings have much of a chance to go anywhere special. There just isn't enough talent on the team in general to stick role guys here and there while spreading around the talent they do have into separate units.

Once again coach's rotations defy any logic

Without the home crowd, this team seems to forget how to play basketball.

That end game unit was interesting. Painfully small but you had the majority of the Kings shot creators in with Fox, Buddy, and Skal. Outside of a nearing the end of his prime Zbo that starting unit has nobody even remotely capable of being a focal point for the opposing teams defense. It can get going like at the start, but the talent hammer seems to always drop at some point. Solid tank lineup though.

That energy is their only hope because certain units play down to their talent level eventually. The defense is fundamentally flawed, but it's the stretches where defenses can just sleep on the offense that hurts.

This team is lacking a focal point on offense.

Unfortunately, this is the type of roster you wanted around boogie. Hield bogdan as shooters and fox as the pg. we gave up a go to scorer to build a more well rounded roster that now lacks a go to scorer

Every team has some sort of go to type of player regardless of how successful the team will be as a result. Buddy Hield won the college player of the year award scoring 25 a game as a true go to type. When given the chance, minutes, and role he's carried this team as well. They are young still but there are makings of a couple of players that can be the ones you gear your shots towards. Zbo can still do it, but he's not a long term option obviously and is not in shape to do that for 82 games. I just hope we eventually see the chains taken off Buddy, Fox, Bogdan, and Skal, but especially Buddy. Just to see if he can be that because if he can't then you have to start making decisions of how to proceed from there. Times a wasting.
