Definitely lining up like we will but who know with how these young cats are closing out games recently.

While it would be disappointing to hurt our draft position tonight, Utah is a really good team with everyone healthy, and they’re definitely playing for something and at home.

Even hanging tough in this sort of game shows that things may not be as dire next year as some Kings fans think.

I have to say it again, before the season is over it would be a shame if they don't give Fox, Bogdan, and Buddy as much time on the court together as they can. They won't go anywhere if they can't compete on a talent level with other teams and I think that trio can.

But the team might not be. The Kings are always running at about 60% capacity, they can never hit that high gear and match a team in talent. Also, off the bench or not, I'm talking about them sharing more time together because I've never seen a team whose 3 best players don't play together. They do here and there, and to finish some games but I want to see if there is chemistry there and how far it can go. The other issue is when Buddy is on, Bogdan sits and that's not going to cut it.

Good, hard fought game from the young guns. I'm stoked about Buddy's development, I never knew he had this kind of court vision. He is starting to see his teammates all over the place.

Kings played hard tonight. They appeared to be getting better

I'm fine with Buddy coming off the bench. It most likely helps his mindset where he knows with the second unit there aren't many other scorers on the court and he has the ultimate green light. I think an issue he had early in his career was that he deferred to others far too much when 9 times out of 10 he's the best shooter on the court.

The truth is the end of this year might be the only time they get a full on chance to see Bodgan and Buddy play major minutes together because if they do select a player that is going to play mostly at SF somebody is getting left out. Look at how Malachi's injury last year ended up effecting his career with the Kings. If he doesn't get hurt last season he gets a chance to show out instead of sucking crumbs the next year. The end of the year should be about discovering and uncovering certain things about your talent and team considering there is nothing to lose.

Once again, it's not an issue of coming off the bench it's about them playing together. It's like with Manu in San Antonio, he came off the bench but Pop didn't hold him away from playing with their other top players. But that's my point...with fewer proven scorers on the floor with him Buddy has no choice but to be super aggressive/constantly look for his shot. If he's on the floor with Fox, Bogi and ZBo he's simply not getting the quantity of looks that he would get with the 2nd unit. If you have a shooter on the court who's not a good defender you want to make sure he's actually shooting a good deal while he's in.

The problems there are I don't know if BB or Buddy can be lockdown wing defenders or that we have enough rebounding from any of our current bigs to make that optimal/end of game lineup(Fox.Buddy,BB,new Forward, competitive with elite teams. I.E. we are still a team rebuilding.

A lot more than nothing? Bogdan sat for 12 straight game minutes while Buddy was balling, then he comes in totally cold with 3 minutes left in the game. That's not workable in any scenario and it's happened more than once to both Bogdan and Buddy this year.

There could be issues, in fact, there could be major issues and that's why I think it's best to find that out now considering there is little short term gains otherwise to made at this point.

It's happened more than once, and I've seen plenty of players have off games then get the chance to work through it and take their team to victory. There is no way to explain a player having an off game, taking them out for such and extended period of time, then re-inserting them into the game that late. Memphis fans had the same issues with it IIRC, I can see why. If the idea is that Buddy can Bogdan can't, or won't play together, then this won't work long term.
