I just don't see how the Kings lose tonight. If they win, I hope it's on the backs of all of our young guys. Let's sit Zach, Garrett, and Vince tonight. Play Koufos as the lone vet. Let's really let the young guys shine tonight. 10-man rotation tonight please:
Fox - Mason
Bogi - Hield
Jackson - Bruno
Skal - Cooley
Willie - Koufos

NO!!!! We need to sit Koufos, and start Zach the tank commander. Koufos has been to good, makes me think hes playing for a contract.

Then let him play for a contract. That’s more freed up money for next season. ;)

In looking at the Kings remaining schedule I think it might not be out of the realm of possibility that the Kings go 5-3 depending on if the Spurs and Rox rest there way into the playoffs. If NY only wins 1 more game the Kings could end up in 9th position.

In all seriousness, I agree with you. I actually don’t want to lose Koufos. I love the guy. I just want to see him be successful.

Anyone rooting for the Kings to win this game is crazy. We win and we’re in 8th. We lose and we’re still in striking distance for 5th.

Of course DSJ is torching us then exits with an ‘injury’. Sound tanking strategy.

I know he obviously has to do it as the home broadcaster but it really annoys me hearing Grant incessantly applauding Kosta and others every shot they make in a game we absolutely must lose.

Of course he’s rooting for the guys to do well as he should but sometimes you get the feeling he thinks this lowly roster could win a championship.

We all want the tank but honestly, given that the players are trying to win this would be a pretty embarrassing loss. This Mavs team is terrible and we look just as but..and we're at home.

DSJ looks much further along than Fox at this point. One guy loving to take it to the rack and the other completely unwilling.

Given his speed I just want to see Fox beat his defender and attack the rim more. It would create lots of new opportunities for Kings' offense.

You gotta wonder if the whole "you can't draft a point guard this year" argument still applies.

It wouldn't be ideal but if Trae Young is the BPA at that point can you really say no?

The tough thing is that if its Young (size issues) or Sexton (shot issues) you couldn't really play either alongside of Fox.
You're really just conceding, whether it's last years pick or this years pick, that you drafted a backup with a top 10 pick.
Tough call

I think as an announcer you keep in mind your voice will be tied to that players highlight. In two years when they replay "the Koufos game" no one will care about the teams record, they want an electrifying highlight reel.

Well luckily Trae Young cannot be BPA 1-9 so we are good.

Fox might have been reading the game thread on the half time break. He has already beat DSJ three times in and went to rim.

After that one, we still have 3-4 very winnable games left. Btw, I have a gut feeling that Kings will move up in the lottery.

Games like this are why im adamant in the Kings NOT taking Mikal Bridges or a similar low ceiling player. Bridges is a nice role player but really...we are struggling at home to beat one of the worst teams in the league. We need a guy with franchise centerpiece upside...not a specialist.

I have an uneasy feeling that the Kings are gonna win this game.

Unexpectedly, Joerger is not putting Koufos in and playing Bruno.
