There won’t be positives like Buddy going back to Minn in a Wiggins trade IMO. It would be a straight salary dump and we would use the $17 mill in cap space. The TWolves would be silly to do it as well IMO because Butler is as good as gone. They need to ride it out with Wiggins.
So to me it would be Wiggins for Kosta/2nd.
As I said I don’t think the Wolves should just dump him even with his contract.
For the Kings the only way you take on that contract is via an expiring and maybe a 2nd.

I wouldn't even want him. 5/150 million YUCK. Was listening to Grant Napear the other day and he mentioned the Kings have absolutely no interest in him on the worst contract in the league.

If he was a better 3pt shooter id probably take the risk. That said it would be Randolph/Shump/Koufos going back. I'm not using any of our valuable cap space to take on that crap contract.

Im not trading Buddy for Wiggins. You can also add Fox, Bogdonavic, Giles, Bagley, and any 1sts to that list.

Honestly...I have a hard time taking Wiggins for free.

Wiggins is definitely Vlade's kind of player - athletic and no bbiq.

While I criticize Vlade for a lot of things, this is simply not true. Look down the Kings roster and you will find that the majority of the team has average to high BBIQ.
The only low BBIQ player I see is Willie.

That was a shot against the widely panned LaVine contract.

A lot of fans view LaVine as hype, no substance, and therefore are concerned that’s where Vlade’s acumen is. Wiggins holds the same traits

So it’s recency bias. I highly dislike that. I’m all for criticizing Vlade, but only for the right reasons.

The Lavine thing is looking more and more like an agent favor to Bill Duffy and a way to get rid of competition (Bulls) anyway.

Man, I literally came to this thread to say that I feel about Wiggins the same way as I did about Lavine. Sign the good players while you can, they will either be part of the core or this rebuild blows up and their contract will expire when we start the next rebuild. But DANG Wiggins has a lot of years on that contract. I don't think you can justify taking it, even if you gave up just a Shump/Randolph combo.
