My guy CT NBA Picks is rolling with the Sacramento Kings +3.0 tonight vs. the Memphis Grizzlies. Grizzlies are on a roadtrip right now.
Memphis Grizzlies will be missing Chandler Parsons, Dillon Brooks & JaMychal Green due to injuries. Sacramento Kings continue to be missing Kosta Koufos & Bogdan Bogdanovic due to injuries.

It seems like a good win. How long before Bagley starts?

Giles looks awful, totally unprepared to play, especially defend at NBA level.

The Kings are in games right now and his presence is costing them. He worked on his knees year one, now he's got about another year to go before he can do what the Kings need him to at center.

I think his scoring off the bench is giving the Kings a different look as a post team with him. He's played well but I can see any justification for him to start over B-jelli. NBJ is total glue right now.

Prudent that they continue to let him play - I think he is two years out but maybe next year.
The good news is that Bagley is the real deal. And Bjelica is a real FC player. So Giles/Bagley/Giles could be a nice trio in two years.
I don't know if they could move Skal, WCS, Koufos or Randolf before the trade deadline for some assets. But I think they have a pretty good FC moving forward.

Fox has no idea how to close out games... but he looks way better than last year. He is now an NBA PG.
He should be shooting 1000 3s a day in practice - until he can shoot the 3 he is going to be stuck taking a lot of those long 2s.
I think that he will come into form around the same time as Giles and Bagley... so that is pretty good news.

What I am most worried about is our wings... Hield and Jackson are still struggling. It will be nice to get Bogs back (but not until he is ready). And Shumpert is going to get paid...

I think Buddy will be fine, he's made some boneheaded plays but he's averaging 16 and 5 on 50% from the field and 47% from deep. Bogdan getting back will take some of the pressure off of him to be a ballhandler/creator which should help.

I so hope you are right. What I am concerned about is year over year progression - and I haven't seen that from Hield or Jackson yet (early in the season and a small sample size). Hield has taken a small step back and Jackson about the same.

I'm not a Justin Jackson fan but interesting to hear you don't think Buddy has progressed year to year. He's made huge strides from year to year in my opinion.
Rookie Year:
10.6 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 1.5 APG
42.6% FG%, 39.1% 3P%, 54.1% TS%
2nd Year:
13.5 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 1.9 APG
44.6% FG%, 43.1% 3P%, 55.7% TS%
This Year So Far:
16.2 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 1.8 APG
50.7% FG%, 47.6% 3P%, 58.9% TS%

Couldn't agree more. His biggest issue has been his bonehead plays. He just needs to clean that up and realize his limitations because hes not a good ball handler. I think most of it will be fixed from Bogdans return.
The player i'm most worried about is Giles. I was so hyped for him coming into this year but he just looks like he will be too small to be an anchor and doesn't posses the skills to play pf.
I know WCS is only playing well because its a contract year but I've always believed in him. A small part of me wants to think hes turned the page but I cant in a contract year lol.

We're seeing some good things out of all the players and that's awesome. I think the Skal route is warranted with Giles. What they are doing to Harry right now is almost unfair. If the Kings didn't have all the young players they do have, they weren't looking as competitive as they do, and Bjelica wasn't as impactful as he has been then it would be different. See where the team is post deadline and maybe some late season garbage minutes are in order.

You make some good points above. But also, DRB% is flat, AST% is down STL% is down, TO% is up and defensively he is worse this year. Now, this is a small sample size so I may be all wet. But so far, I am not seeing the big jump that he needs to take to get in the discussion of a top 10 SG.
But, I hope I am wrong - I really hope that Bogs will make a difference and make Buddy better.
