Opening Schedule

It really annoys me that the NBA is so terrible with the schedule making... I feel like they create schedules purposely propping up certain teams.
EX: Dallas Mavs - Suns, disfunctional Wolves, Bulls and Hawks a total of 119 wins from last season.
Now I realize typing this that it always evens out at the end, but this is just their way to prop up the Mavs. Mavs start out 3-1 and its a nice story, the wonderboy Doncic gets a few easy games in, the Deandre addition proves to be big time, and they get some good momentum rolling.
Meanwhile the Kings played Utah, New Orleans, OKC, Denver with the latter 3 all being on the road. Thats 4 Western Conference playoff teams with 190 total wins from last season.
I feel like I've noticed this year after year and it just becomes rather comical after so long.
