Well well looks like guys had night out in Miami.
Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

Man I've always supported wcs, through all the years I gave him the benefit of the doubt. This summer he said the get paid comments and it really pissed me off. But I've always said he was held back by joergers system and did great with Karl. Now that were running hes showing he can be a stud.

I wont be mad if we pay him this summer. If he keeps this up he deserves 4/70 easy but I hope to God it doesn't bite us

Willie as the rim runner, switcher, and pick and roll finisher is living up to his draft positioning.

Absolutely. That's what he was meant to do. Running him out at the slowest pace in the league with Randolph/cousins clogging the paint was a joke. Hes an underrated offensive player and hes improving defensively

Ha, still way early but they are showing signs of improvement and that they do have some talent to build around.

So far so good.

But I'm still cautiously optimistic about this.

By the time Game 20 ends, if we still hovering at a .500 clip, I would be ecstatic.

De'aaron Fox was grimacing in pain near the end of the game. If he misses games that could slow the Kings down. But make no mistake the difference from last year is night and day. With this many young players playing at a high level in a good offensive system it will only be a matter of time.

I thought Hield and Bjelica were the players of the game. Hield played really good D and took nearly 1/2 his shots from 3 - it really spread out the offense as did Bjelica. When the two of them do that it really opens up the middle.

Fox's D was also terrific - he had a few pretty bad TOs but whatever (both he and Hield will have to figure that one out).

Solid win.

I was waiting for it) 7 feet 25 y.o. center who ABSOLUTELY do not protect the paint, can't shoot from distance, do not want to set screens, playes hard only during his contract year, being known as lazy ass and wants to be payed as a star... Yeah, give him 70 millions! Even if you've just picked 2nd 19 y.o. extremely talented big man, who can do the same.

Bagley and WCS are much different players. If you watch the games that's pretty clear to me. He may not block shots but hes an average at worst defender who can defend the pick and roll while showing out on faster guards.

Again I'm not entirely sure how much of his game was due to being in the wrong system and how much from wanting to get paid. This system just seems like a natural fit for him unlike the garbage we ran the last 2 years.

That's true, but this system fits Bagley too. He should become our starting big being more talented and much cheaper next 4 years. And next to him I'd prefer Giles and Skal over Willie.
Just do not **** up again and overpay role players like JT or Landry.

Absolutely Bagley is the future. I'm not willing to say that Giles is the future yet, I was huge on him this summer but he needs to work a lot. He definitely isn't big enough to guard centers right now (hes still 20 so that can change) he isnt skilled enough to play the 4, he isn't running the court like WCS right now either. All this can change with time, but I think best case scenario WCS keeps this up and we resign him to 2-3 year deal and wait for Giles to improve. Lets also not forget hes an injury concern.

WCS/Bagley/Bjelica is a great trio up front and each brings a different unique skill. WCS a rim runner and pick and role defense, Bagley an offensive big who you can feed but also can step out to the 3, and an underrated shot blocker. Bjelica (MVP lol) a guy who spaces the floor and makes incredible passes. The PF version of Bogdan. Right now I can't say that Giles has any one great talent like these 3.

As for Skal I love him as well. He showed tons of promise his first year, seemed to regress last year and now hes not getting any minutes. I've told other Kings fans he should be getting the minutes Giles was getting and now Koufos is getting. Id much rather see what he can do and let Giles have another developmental year while Koufos rides the bench. Id guess the front office doesn't see him as a core piece and isn't going to waste time developing him which is a shame.

Giles and Skal have both looked really bad and WCS has looked excellent this year. Willie is easily our best big on the team right now, minus Bjelica if you count him as a big. Bagley will eventually grow into his role as the starter next to Willie.

Yeah Willie seemed to try to force some things against Whiteside early on last night but for the most part, the offense is coming to him naturally which is a good sign. Unless we find a good deal for him at the deadline, I think it's in the team's best interest to bring him back next year. 4/70 would be my limit but hoping for more of a 4/60 deal.
