I'd rather give this guy a shot. I've seen enough of Mason and dont want him back. Guy should be our 3rd stringerblind prophet wrote:Hey at least Guy has an elite skill, 3 point shot.
Maybe he can beat out Frank if we don't add pg depth. Still upset over cash considerations.

Yeah, even if they didn't work him out, someone like Bol is obviously enough value at 40 or later that they'd have had teams trying to trade for him. Same for Talen Horton-Tucker. Shamorie Ponds is a steal at this point too and could become a solid backup for Fox who would keep the up-tempo game going.

Heard people are questioning if he can play the 1. But maybe Vlade thinks Bogi can help with that.

That's a good point. You can play Guy off the ball on offense and let Bogi handle the rock, I can get with that.

I'll be surprised if any of these guys get rotation minutes next year.codydaze wrote:blind prophet wrote:RipPizzaGuy wrote:I'd rather give this guy a shot. I've seen enough of Mason and dont want him back. Guy should be our 3rd stringer

I could see Guy making sneaking into the rotation if we move on from Yogi.

Two undrafted guys we should take a look at are Jontay Porter and Naz Reid.

Cannot believe we did not draft Jontay Porter if he wanted to do a stash. Another incompetent evening from Vlade. Just the usual.

Is that right that his last season was 2016/17?
Is this guy even still playing basketball??
Edit:
Obviously I was half joking, but he has been playing. Looks like a decent enough draft stash, but another SG?

That went about as bad as you could imagine. It's going to be a tough road for the picks they made tonight. The Kings have Buddy Hield and Bogdan Bogdanovic at SG. Good luck fellas.

Eh, not sure what you expected out of 40, 47, and 60. I know we didnt have a first so most kings fans were hoping to get some "steals" here. Reality is 2nd round is always a dart throw. We will be lucky if 1 of these guys becomes a bench player, and maybe 5 of the whole 2nd round.Silver Man wrote:Cannot believe we did not draft Jontay Porter if he wanted to do a stash. Vlade has done fine drafting. You can blame him for passing on doncic, but bagley is pretty damn good himself.

Guys enough with the doom and gloom. These picks were irrelevant. I know were bored and want action but this wont affect our future.

Not including seconds because none of them have been good that Vlade has drafted.
Vlade is responsible for drafting one of the worst picks of all time in Papagiannis plus trading an unprotected first rounder, drafting Bagley over Luka. Drafting Fox was an obvious pick. Giles is still TBD, Jackson was not very good. Vlades is a bottom 3 GM. Always has been always will.

You are correct. I would have liked to see some real swing for the fence type prospects that are 19-20, but when you get into the middle of the 2nd round there just aren't too many.
Reality is the two guys we will have next season will be in Stockton.

You can't say that. His draft record outside of an obvious player being there is indeed spotty. Horrible in fact. Where scouting and talent evaluation comes into play the Kings are abysmal.
