Boy man, our rep is still down if New Orleans is seen as a better free agent destination...

Amick is saying despite our big offer he is probably signing elsewhere

If he’s choosing the Pelicans over us, good riddance to him, but we still have a ways to go in perception as an org

Why did he follow the Pelicans players already?

Just asking, but if you were an older vet who was looking at teams to go to, would you honestly pick the Kings over the Pels? I love De’Aaron and Marvin, but Zion is on a different level.

I actually would go Kings over Pels. Pels have the worst fan base in the league and are a few years away from the playoffs. Kings are knocking on the door with a new arena and are geographically much more appealing. With that said, I don’t think he’s going to the Pels.

Amick just said what I knew all along, we are a secure destination for Capela if the Rockets need cap for Butler

Butler, choose Houston

That’s may be holding up our center deals. Capela can be choice number 1 and hinge on Butlers decision

Butler is choosing Miami which means Capela is probably never an option. Vlade should get some props for securing that option tho. Seems like he is doing a good job from what the reports say.

Am I missing why Brook Lopez wasn’t mentioned but Al/Dedmon were? 4/52? 13 a year?

Could be wrong but I don't think I ever heard him linked to any team. It's possible teams were told he is resigning with the Bucks so they didn't go after him.

MJ would rather be mediocre than land a top pick. Charlotte needs to once and for all get out no mans land and get some star talent. Signing Kemba to a super max would have been dumb but c'mon.

I think Horford might also be look at staying more east coast? Pure speculation...

Glad to see Vlade is looking to the future! I'm hoping we solidify the backup point guard spot and grab another wing now.

The Kings are also expected to come to quick terms with Dewayne Dedmon on a three-year, $40 million deal when free agency formally opens. That deal has a partial guarantee in the third year.

I like this deal a lot. A bit over 13M for a C that can play well with all three of our other FC players is terrific. We have the option for the 3rd year :D.

He has improved every year in the L and now can stretch the D with his 3. He is a very solid defender man on man, defensive rebounder, rim protector and steals the ball on top of that.

If this is true - Vlade gets an A in my book.

I think we're looking at 27 million remaining, give or take, plenty of room to go look for one more real difference maker or a two solid depth pieces. Cory Joseph and Marcus Morris are my top choices.

Cap Maximum: $109,140,000
Luxury Tax Threshold: $132,627,000

So, we could go to $109,140,000 before we resign Barnes, so ~ $50M. But I think they are looking at next year when we need to resign Hield and Bogdan. So, realistically we could sign a max and Barnes and still be fine.

I wouldn't add anyone else in the FC. I would want to add another SF and possibly upgrade the PG position. But there aren't a lot of SFs on the market I would want so - I would rather it come from a trade.

Go Vlade!

If we ink Barnes before that are we around 27 million?

Sacramento will finalize a four-year, $85 million deal with Harrison Barnes today.

~21M per year.

Take away WCS qualifying offer before he actually accepts it

Return to Sacramento Kings
