Like other have said he really fits how we want to play just like Dedmon and is a value signing. I think he'll get alot of minutes as an athletic big.

Nah fact is until and if he gets a lot bigger Harry’s real position is high post PF.

We needed a third true center in the roster that is also a smart player and can do things besides just bang if called upon. Holmes fits that to a “T”.

Time will tell how they are used. I was just speculating. I can believe that something could be up with Giles, Holmes was signed as C insurance and that he will get good minutes all at the same time because last I checked he was 6'10 230 so he fits with C/PF the same as Giles.

Regardless, we got a good young big that should help us in the style Walton is going to want to play. That alone should be the high point here.

H's Montrezl Harrell lite.

Great signing.

High motor guy with great energy. Can rebound, dunk, and jump at an elite level. Good defender and decent shot blocker.

His biggest drawback is that he cannot shoot.

I'm pissed the Suns got rid of him. He'll be solid for you guys.

Thanks. I remember him outplaying the hell out of WCS last year when we faced you guys. Super scrappy. We're happy to have him.

I like the signing... But it feels like Holmes is good enough to play so whoever gets the DNP won't be happy

If Bjeli gets the DNP, Bags and Dedmon start and Barnes is playing the 3 than Giles and Holmes would man the 4 and 5. I don't know who would be designated as which.

It'll be interesting to see if Holmes can find his 2017 magic touch from 3

Dedmon, Bagley, Giles, Bjelica & Holmes. Solid and deep - injury proof (well one injury anyway). And Swanigan - TBD as he plays in the G league this season - you guys have been watching him more than I.
