I’m thinking they go small, but if the change is Hield, I got my popcorn ready. I don’t perceive him to have the personality to take it lightly

I think it will be:
Fox, Buddy, Bogi, Barnes, and Bjelica

So Jason Jones and Shams confirm Bogdan moves into the starting unit and Buddy moves to the bench. I have a feeling Buddy is not going to take this well at all.

Yep....well like said above...I got my popcorn ready....
My only issue is that 90 million to a player to put them on the bench...might as well trade him...I'd be okay with that too!

It’s been long overdue.
Buddy has been disappointing since he signed that contract.

Don’t know if I like the impact of BOgi starting. It might raise his price tag, for wins in a meaningless season

Buddy won't see a dime of his incintive based salary coming off the bench. Buddy "Pay Me" Hield won't put up with that for long.

True...
Or tell the Kings if they need to trade Buddy and commit to Bogi long-term next to Fox. I'm excited to see this. He's more suited as a combo guard anyway.

I guess we will see this offseason when he’s eligible to be moved.

Looks a better unit to start this game

Anybody watch the start of this? How has Bogi looked in the starting lineup? Looks like Buddy has actually had a solid game stats wise.

I only watched the first half. Both Bogi and Buddy looked good with their respective units. Bogi definitely blended in. Fox handled the ball mostly, but Bogi and Barnes mixed in. Bogi looked terrific off the ball. Speaking of off the ball movement, Buddy made a return to that. It was really nice to see.
I won’t get my hopes up because this was against an injured Bulls team, but the Kings looked improved, even just for tonight.

Buddy meshes very well with Giles! Giles with that pass first attitude, he sets up the entire team and buddy definitely benefited from that tonight.
Feels like the Fox-Buddy-Barnes-Bagley pairing isnt going to work. A lot of guys who like to go 1 on 1.

Call me crazy, but I’d like to look into moving Barnes quickly and keep Buddy. Buddy has a much higher ceiling even with his limited skill set. Barnes will be helpful to any team in the league, but he’s probably the most average starting 3 in the league. Not elite in any category, but won’t hurt you in any category.
