Obviously these things are ever changing, but its a slow time before we get into the season in a few weeks. Lets see those predictions! Ill start, i'm going to do my prediction, but also my hope.

Prediction -

Holmes (24) Whiteside (18) Bagley (6)
Bagley (22) Bjelica (20) Barnes (6)
Barnes (26) GRIII (18) Hield (4)
Hield (24) Haliburton (20) Joseph (4)
Fox (32) Joseph (16)

The hardest part for me was figuring out the front court. Part of me thinks Holmes and Whiteside may get more minutes, but it was hard to find those while also getting Barnes a few more minutes at the 4. If I had to guess Bjelica gets squeezed out even more if thats the case.

HOPE -

Holmes (26) Whiteside (14) Bagley (8)
Bagley (20) Bjelica (22) Barnes (6)
Barnes (22) Woodard (16) GRIII (10)
Buddy (30) Haliburton (12) GRIII (6)
Fox (34) Haliburton (14)

Id prefer not to give any minutes to Joseph, Parker, Kaminsky. Give Woodard a role right out the gate. Hes physically ready, i'm okay with a few mistakes but I want to see if we have something there. Id love to even get Justin James some minutes eventually. If Bjelica gets traded at the deadline for a pick, or obviously if any injuries come up.

What do you guys think?

I'm not sure on the minute distribution right now but....

Frank can mix well with Holmes, Whiteside, and Bagley. Maybe drop bombs with Bjelica too. He may be a good choice on the floor with some of our rookies or Bagley. Think he'll get some burn.

Some games Whiteside probably plays a lot, other games Holmes may. Probably vary some depening on match ups or if Whiteside is on a roll etc.

We should play our vets some, even Joseph until the deadline, after that peace out, maintain some trade value even if negative contracts. Also gives the rookies some time to develop, remember short off season, corona no hoops, so I bet many rookies curve will be less at the start of the season vs a normal year.

Walton has to be worried about his job some I'd think so he's probably going to roll with the vets some unless McNair stright up tells him not to.

Tough to find minutes for Frank without completely cutting Bjelica out of the mix. Although I do think if we have anyone out because Covid or injuries hes the first to get bumped up.

Thats likely, I could see Holmes and Whiteside be on a game by game basis (i'm more so going by what the average is going to end up)

While I hate to play guys like Parker or Joseph, because I don't think there's anything they can do to become positive, I think you are right and its likely we will find minutes for them.

Walton feels like a Lame Duck. Let him lose the season. Start the new coach in a better spot with tons of cap space this upcoming summer. But who knows, he could be showcasing for his next job.

You don't think Guy will make the team?
