^^^ LOL I needed that...

Because this is already looking like the same old story. You know, now I get why the players were bragging about this new defensive system. They realized they didn't have to play any.

Looking like NOLA will only get about 138 points. Pretty good considering they are only on a 5 game losing streak.

The kings play horrific defense, but teams still uncommonly shoot the ball against this team

Bagley our here showing some things

Fox showing out tonight. Great run to end the third to get it to a 4 point game. Some stops in the fourth quarter would be nice...

I’m happy Fox seems improving on the offensive end, he’s still got a way to go on defense and impacting the game as a leader, but I guess one step forward is still that. Hope the other aspects improve with time

Bagley driving the tank. The kid is trying but is horrifically bad with his defensive fundamentals.

Fox +18 in 39 minutes and cojo -23 in 9 minutes

Not sure why you guys are blaming Bagley. Our 2 biggest killers right now are Joseph/Walton.

Bagley is bad on defense but he has potential. Kings fans need to relax. Hes 14 games into the season after taking basically 1.5 years off.

Time to fire Walton, and never take Cojos ass off the bench.

Yeah this game wasn’t on Bagley. CoJo was poor and more was needed from Barnes.

Regarding Bagley’s defense, I think he can become an adequate rim protector but he won’t be anything until he learns to turn his hips and stay low in defensive position. He has a huge tendency to guard upright and then get low-ish when a drive happens. He needs to be low from the get-go. He also hops instead of sliding his feet. Doug Christie pointed this out on the telecast and I was so excited to hear someone else say it. If he can learn to learn to open his hips up and slide, then I think he will be on his way to becoming an adequate, and maybe slightly positive defender. Until then, he will be targeted and scored on.

This has always been my gripe with Barnes. Love him, and think he's underrated around the T&T. That said he tends to disappear far to often. 41 minutes and he made 2 shots and gets 1 rebound? His issue is consistency imo.

Agreed on Bagley. But its nice to see him shaking off the rust. I think back to his rookie season and while he was bad on defense he was never this bad. Ill give him another month and monitor the progress.
