This will be the biggest test this Kings team has seen since the first Clippers game. I’m intrigued to see how they will come out, but I suspect the team will get abused in the paint. If I’m the Sixers, I’m getting targeting Holmes to get him in foul trouble. The big depth would get thinned out so quickly.

I’ve watched him draw two charges this quarter. I’ve been noticing him making more winning plays every game. He sticks out because he’s not doing them as much as the top-5 guys on the team. I think he’s getting much better.

Totally. Of all games I'm surprised that's the reaction city of trees chose this game. Hes been just fine this game. And defensively making tons of plays

Bagley certainly has been a positive tonight. Think some kings fans just are negative about him no matter what because he hasn't lived up to his #2 pick hype. Not his fault Vlade took him too high

Too bad we couldn't close it out. Fox looked gassed in the 4th, but that was a really competitive game. Didn't make some key shots and didn't get a few calls. No complaints on my end with Kings effort though.

I thought tonight was one of his best games of the season. He made plays on both ends and it makes extremely happy to say that. I always have a really hard time defending Bagley’s defense, but he was aggressive and turned his hips well tonight. Luke and co. need to watch film on this game and show Bagley what he did right so he can build off of it.

Totally. Would be nice if someone else could close out a game every so often. We can't rely on Fox going superman every game. We need one of those 35pt Barnes games here soon.

Can't win em all. We fought hard though and that's all you can really ask for. Philly's size is a problem for us, we were outrebounded 59-39 tonight which was the difference. Philly's defense is really, really good too, I wish there was a way for us to steal Thybulle away from them.

My post was after watching most of his 1st quarter. I'm happy the rest of the game he made me eat my words.

Still, a lot to be desired from Bagley.

I think the T&T board guys are rubbing off too much on you City!

Bagley is 21 man. He hasn't played in a year and a half. I'm judging him like a rookie. Can we give the kid some time!

By all means give him time. For me, I haven't seen the growth or IQ from Bags to suggest he's a special player.

I think if he does figure it out it will happen during his 2nd contract which probably isn't with the Kings.

But I'd love to be wrong! We need him to be the player he was projected to be. Bagley unlocks so much for the Kings.

The development of his corner 3 is literally the only one area I can say he's improved. Need more of this in all areas of his game.

He had his best game of the season.

I posted this early on in the game before he started playing well.

I mean if the expectations is that hes going to be the player he was projected to be, or be a teams 1st or 2nd best player, I think that ship has sailed.

But players grow all the time, especially big men like him.

Julius Randle is a great example. (year 1 was a lost year) Year 2-4 he wasn't shooting 3s at all. The last 2 years he's been working on it, and this year hes shooting 38% on 4.2 attempts. Now Randle was always a better passer than Bagley but this year (year 7) hes doubled his assist numbers and is averaging nearly 6 per game.

I want to see Bagley become an efficient 15/10 guy who plays average defense, can shoot the 3, and is able to pass out of the block. It took Randle 6 years to get there, Bagley is essentially starting year 2 in terms of games played.

We have another 1.7 years of basketball to watch from him before making a decision.

He definitely seems to have been playing a little smarter on both ends, he's slowing coming along and the jumper is looking better but I still need to see him develop some moves on offense. He really doesn't have any moves when his back is to the basket, he just tries to either go through the defender or get by with that little jump hook. If he can establish a couple go to moves it will really open up his game. One thing I've noticed in the last couple games is he's looking for his guards after a rebound too, in the past he would grab a board and try to push it himself. Let's just hope he can stay healty
