I feel a bit hypocritical as I just defended him on the trade board, but as far as I’m concerned the Bagley experiment is now in its finishing stages

Not just reacting to tonight’s game, it’s now the culmination

He doesn’t have the BBIQ to play the game. BBIQ really is innate, and not really totally alterable as we’ve seen with McLemore. He’s probably always going to be out of place on defense and not understand advanced offense concepts

We’ve lost 8 straight. Team has quit on the bottom 2-3 coach

You're the freaking Knicks and we're basketball hell. Welcome to the last decade and a half of Kings basketball.

We're in Evan Mobley territory fellas! Our defense is laughable at best, just no pride. Keep Fox and Hali and sell everything else that you can.

People are freaking out on Twitter, but i don't get it. We've been bad for so long, I'm fine just sitting this season out and seeing which of these top guys it can net us. Let Luke lead the tank.

All will be fine when Luke watches the film and gets a larger sample size.

I mean, I get it. People want to watch the team be successful, no one likes losing and we've been doing it for so long that it's starting to really get unbearable for some folks. I don't blame them but if you just take a step back and look at the roster, our best case scenario is fighting for a 7-8 seed and even if we got there it doesn't improve our potential any going forward. I'm on board with you though, we really need another difference maker on this team and this is as good a draft as any to get one.

I honestly think if we hadn't gone on that run of winning games against hobbled opponents, people wouldn't be so upset. We got tricked into thinking we could make a playoff push (I was there too) and then when the bubble burst, people got pissed.

But this team is really, really bad, Luke is a terrible coach and never should have been hired, and we're going to need to clean house/inject talent into the roster in order to make a real difference. The worst thing that could happen right now imo is to fire Like, have the players rally around an interim coach, and win 35 games and hurt our odds at getting as high of a pick as we can. It would make this season more palatable, but would continue this middling, not-quite-bottom mess we've been in.

I've embraced the tank.

If you don't mind me replying on your team board, yesterday's game was the perfect example of what I meant the other day when I said player development doesn't happen in a vacuum, and how investing minutes in Bagley's development hurts the development of Fox and Haliburton. Low basketball IQ, no defense players hurt everybody around them. You have to hold them accountable. And if they're a sunk cost and need to be benched or traded (like Kevin Knox for us), then so be it.

You guys have two good ones in Fox and Haliburton. I hope you get a competent coach sooner rather than later and that your FO is wise enough to make the right roster moves.
