We have a lot a free agency talk bleeding into the trade thread so I thought I would open up a new thread specifically for free agency talk.

I'll start with this hypothetical. If it looks like we have a shot of getting Holmes back on a 4/60 deal and Jarrett Allen may be offered 5/100 from Cleveland, would you rather the Kings overpay Allen on a 4/90 offer or have Holmes back at 4/60?

The New York Knicks gave Alec freaking Burks $30M holy crap.

Is the floor for Holmes 16 after that?

I'd rather have Allen but signing Holmes on a 3 or 4 year early bird rights deal is such a quality signing.

I was worried about this. But don't they need another guard? They already have KP, WCS, Boban, Kleber, and Powell tying up center spot.

Ya kinda surprised they wouldn't just take Buddy for free at that point. Wonder if we wanted something in return.

Duncan Robinson just signed a 5/90. Am I crazy for thinking Buddy on his deal is way more valuable than that?

Dallas has such a scrambled roster outside of Luka and THJ. They need good players everywhere.

Zach Lowe, today on ESPN's FA show, said Buddy Hield has now become an undervalued player in the league. Meaning he's not a negative contract like the T&T board loves to think.

KP/Powell/Boban/WCS
Kleber
DFS/Green
THJ
Luka/Brunson/Burke

They need a lot in terms of 2-4. Sure they are a threat, but I wouldn't like it for them at all.

Slide Holmes or KP to the 4. Trade Powell/Burks for Dragic. That's my best guess and I didn't check salary

I wonder what CLE is going to do with all those bigs and the money tied up there.

M.Harkless back to Sac 2 year deal

Harkless back on $4.5 million a year. Not bad for some wing depth.

Mo Harkless 2/$9M is decent. He played really well in Sac. God knows we need wing depth
