Bagley Not In Opening Night Rotation

Looks like we're all in with Barnes/Harkless as the rotation at the 4. How long do we keep him in the locker room until we dump him for whatever we can get?

I figured this is a pretty big topic that deserves its own thread.

Who cares, he isn’t a net positive. Finally moving on from this guy.

Well, he’s not good, so not surprised that as soon as he wasn’t gifted minutes and needed to earn them this would happen

I think we shopped him for savings last summer without takers, before we re signed Richaun cheap, didn’t we?

Rotation wise I think they want both Thompson and Len to get minutes, by how they looked and rotations in preseason

LOL please give us value for his horrible contract does not = Value.

They'd of moved him for a top 55 protected.

Added to list, quite a big list where I'm amused about how many fans defended him. So many Kings fans just can't face the music on our guys sometimes.

Stopped caring or rooting for this dude the moment he looked the same exact player entering his 2nd year. He simply didn’t put the work in to improve his game. Plus dude made out of glass. Both things was frustrating as hell.

Good riddance.

Benching Bagley is one of the better moves we've made over the past years. Other players are more deserving of rotation minutes and Bagley's zero improvement since he's arrived is not one of them. Bagley and his camp have been a nightmare since day one and the sooner we move on the better. Only thing playing him could do is lose us the top 55 protected pick we get for him to no pick at all.

Bagley was what finally got me to stop paying for league pass a couple years back.

I think the core of this was the Kings telling Bagley they won't be spoon feeding him minutes this year like they have the past 3 years. Not only does that mean less time to showcase for his next contract, but it also brings in the scenario where his QO is so low the Kings may exercise it thus making it even more difficult for him to find a deal this offseason (unless he blows up I think don't think Kings exercise his QO if it's for #2 pick money)

Is this supposed to be long-term? There is no way that based on his ability he doesn't deserve a top 12 spot. It's more likely that it's consequence of the combination of his ability, his attitude and his agent/father talking nonsense all the time and trying to get him traded. Surely he will not be benched for long time, though? The team played with 9-player rotation, which is ridiculous to maintain in regular season.

Cunningham reporting Bagley refused to check in against Phoenix. Bad look especially considering Metu/Jones were on the floor for that comeback.

Sheesh

At this rate, Bagley will be out of the league after this season. Dude is a massive bust of epic proportions.
