Call me pessimistic but nothing will change. This franchise is lost. I hope this signifies that Monte has the say in the coaching decision but why not let him go during the off-season then? I don’t get it. This franchise is so dysfunctional and even when they make the right move it still doesn’t make sense.

There is going to be an expected jab of elevated play with a change of coach. Then, the Kings will return to baseline. Rinse and repeat.

If you don't want to watch, I'll take some notes.

Ham asked something about the team has pretty much quit on everything the past two weeks, how do you change that? Make trades? Hold them accountable?

Didn't answer.....said we have the talent and have shown stuff early, Gentry will be the one to get us there.

Rico Hines is getting a "promotion" or will be on the bench.

Carmichael Dave asked if there was anything in the decision beyond the record that had something to do with the firing.

Monte did say he wants us to play faster, thinks the Kings can be the fastest team in the league, wants to get defense able to provide for offense. I'm guessing more fast breaks. He had issue with how we finished games.

Asked with the same people around besides Luke, what's going to change?

He brought up consistency, and Gentry has a lot of experience.

Was asked if Doug was considered, didn't answer the question, just praised Doug and talked about Gentry.

He wants them to play faster but holmes will be playing over Bagley lol.
