Problem with Fox, is he has the skill level to play like this every night

Why is he playing like this tonight instead of his usual lethargic look? He knows hes on the trade chopping block.

No one questions skill level, its motor/determination with him

And how can you count on him not to play like doodoo for large swaths of the season when he's not on trade chopping block?

Thats a motor question

Our offense was horrendous during the Detroit 10-0 run.

Kings shooting 54% from the field. Just cut out the wide open 3s and they would have easily won

Not hating on the outcome (as I'm team Lin)

Davis/Mitchell/Fox/Bagley showing some pluses and competing in an entertaining game, regardless of outcome.

Why are you all hoping for wins? The more losses this team wracks up before the deadline the higher the chances we may actually get a rebuild of some sorts.

This was a clutch loss.

If the Kings manage to give away another game to OKC they may be able to head into the deadline riding a 12 game losing streak. That should shut Vivek up about the play-in game and guarantee that Gentry isn't back next year--not to mention put us in solid position for a high draft pick in what looks like a top heavy draft.

Just complete and utter incompetence up and down. No words.

I've got to think the defensive has to be coaching related? How do these guys get so lost defensively so consistently.

There you go wishful thinking. They will pull out an unexpected win, and vivek will demand we get better.

There is no tank coming man. I promise you. Monte already said it. It's not in the plans. I wish it was. Lord knows I truly do. This team is **** pitiful.

We all know this next tough stretch the team will play good enough to grab some unlikely wins, but only enough to keep us in 12th and yes, Vivek will see we're only 3 games out of the play in. Oh well.

The issue, as Ive said on other threads, could be Vivek sees the arena near empty and tickets selling for 3 dollars, and he can't shut up because his team can't afford these type of years and we will still see future compromising win now bs

This is something that I was going to bring up, and I know it's not going to be popular, but this is Doug's wheelhouse. Why hasn't the D changed? This is also on him.

We have people bring up Fox and his D, but then you look at Golden State and see their PG is average at best, but his D is covered up by a) a wonderful defensive player in Draymond and b) a scheme that the players buy into. The problem isn't with 1 player. It starts with a defensive scheme. This team switches far too often, they switch when they don't have to and then you have Metu out on an island and his attention span is 2 seconds.

The team seemed to play better when Doug was coaching. I wonder what kind of say he has. This still very much feels like a Walton coached team with gentry just as a figure head.

As for the scheme absolutely. And metu is the forward version of Buddy. Both make incredible plays 20% of the time, then look clueless the other 80%.

I agree with that. Absolutely they played harder with Doug. I just feel, this is the reason he was bought in, and he wouldn’t have done it without some sort of control.
I mean Luke didn’t even have a scheme, he just loved to say we need to play D.
It’s a make or miss league, and if his expertise is D
