Holiday is worthless, took an injury to see a different lineup

tank took a hit but its nice if there are solid things heading into the future. DDV looks like a possible piece to the puzzle, and Fox taking steps. Also nice to see Davion improving, at least for the night

As someone who thought Fox was the man to keep, he is really proving he needed to be in the role. If the team can bring in some help this off-season I'm excited. I'll trust Monte to get aggressive

Same! Sad people think Fox suddenly forgot how to play basketball

He did. He was a bad, negative player for the first part of the season, on both ends.
To top it off his personal demeanor spoke of the motor issues he has to contend with.
It’s great and a relief how he’s played post trade, but we still need reasoning for the first part of the season that doesn’t portend issues going forward. Aside from the potential Hali non fit
Also his numbers need to translate to winning leadership at some point as he nears his mid twenties

Maybe the fact that he was asked to play out of position? You pretty much answered your own question about why it wasn't working and he wasnt happy

Ya I mean it was clear and obvious the issue. Fox played 4 years on ball. Suddenly he asked to not only sit there while we run pnr with Hali/Holmes 50x per game, but also play off ball partially with Mitchell.
Couple that with the fact our offense was beyond predictable. Lack of movement and nobody else to ease the scoring burden. Fox was getting doubled consistently on every drive while not getting the same calls he did the last 2 years.
Monte came in with high hopes and sat on his hands for 1.5 years without making any significant improvements or moves (aside from adding 2 more point guards). Its like people forget these guys are real people. If my job didn't get me the tools to be successful and instead hired two younger guys who do my exact job, id be pretty demoralized as well.
Glad hes back...
Feb - 27/6/4.5 on 51% and 35%
March - 33/7.5/4 on 52% and 42%
Hes been playing like a superstar. Add in another good forward and a coach, and suddenly you have a team.
