I voted Ivey as well. Not sure what we can get the value. It would be fitting we pass on him and he is the next big star

Ivey has the most star potential and upside at 4. He has to be the pick.

Voted Ivey. I would be fine with trading out for a star, but don't see any available.

Ranked
1. Ivey = use 4 for big trade for star (I.e. Donovan Mitchell)
2. Trade back

Those are really the only options here. If McNair picks Keegan or Sharpe at 4, it’s a failure.

I agree it could be perceived as an initial failure but a few things to this point..

We really don't know how Detroit analyzes the draft? They could actually favor Murray>Ivey. Additionally Murray could end up being a great player that helps Sac get to the playoffs and/or Ivey flames out. Hard for me to call it a failure this early, its not like Ivey is a Luka level prospect.

It'd be a little soon, but I'd feel like it was a failure personally. I'd be fine with Murray if we weren't drafting 4th. He's a good prospect and a high floor, but Ivey is one of the 4 players in this draft that have superstar potential. Making safe plays isn't going to get this team to the playoffs, they need to be aggressive.

I feel you. We really don’t know how they perceive it, but there seems to be a lot of smoke around Murray to DET at 5. I don’t see a Bagley-Luka disparity, but I do see quite a big difference between the two. I’m really high on Ivey though.

I really like Murray the player and I think he fits with the Kings really well. I just have Ivey as a clearly better player, one who could raise the ceiling in Sac.

I'm going with Murray just because I don't share the evaluation of Ivey as being a tier above Murray. I'm just not as high on him and I think Murray is going to be great in his role at a premium position in the NBA. I think if we trade down past Detroit then they take him at 5 too so I'd just take my guy at 4.

I'm with Ivey. To be fair, I don't think he will be there at #4 though.

If the Kings still have their 4th pick, draft Murray.

I'm still on the Murray train because I think he is BPA at 4.

I prefer them to trade down and obtain win-now pieces since there is a mandate from above to make the playoffs.

If the Kings manage to nab Collins without giving up the 4, that would be ideal. Use the 4 to trade down for win now pieces. Now, the team looks a quite a bit competitive.

Is this what you want the Kings to do or what they will do? I feel the direction of the team is still looking at trades, for stars or for multiple quality starters, than Keegan. I think if no trades present themselves, they would feel more comfortable with Keegan's floor and SG not being one of the most needed positions on the team (with DDV or Davion)

Well if they come out of this with a couple of starters I will be as mad as a Pistons fan after a Grant trade.
