Kings vrs Hawks

Keegan Murray is 0-2 with a turnover and a misdirection between him and Sabonis that resulted in a Domas turnover and my patience with him is zero

Keegan is taking whatever leniency into disliking him and that draft pick. His garbage play isnt stopping

He's either soft mentally or physically and thats a character trait that doesn't go anywhere

Man I liked AJ coming out a lot, that was really my guy. Wanted the kings to consider taking him at 4. Not sure why he slipped so far, but looks like Atlanta got a steal.

I knew this one would be tough. Back to backs are bad for offensive teams. Defense comes on back to backs not offense

Came into tonight expecting a loss. 2nd night of a back to back before Thanksgiving on the east. Not surprised they look sluggish and out of sync. But was really hoping they would stay competitive.

Man mitchell blows a layup, then gets fouled on the next. Suddenly back to 15 point game. In for a rough night

Ugly one tonight. They had plenty of opportunities to steal this game. Turnovers and bad 3s killed them big time. Bound to happen. Take a much needed day off tomorrow and bring it against the Celtics.

3 games in 4 nights, on the road, against playoff teams, with Thanksgiving away from your family as your only day off, is, brutal.

A thread is going to be started about Keegan if we go another game or two this direction

What he was expected to show as a 4th pick, and he's unplayable and has been for some time. Even if we take the personal situation early on, this has now extended into being concerned about his makeup and game. Not only is he producing nothing, he's empty on energy and impact all around.

Very disappointed in this guy. We should be talking about another 15/7/3 and some affect on the game, and this guy continues down this path..

Disappointing loss, but it was always going to be tough. Atlanta played some decent D on us and we shot ourselves in the foot with too many turnovers and poor shot selection.

There really weren't too many positives in this one.

His twin brother seems to be handling the same family situation well. Hes putting up the same numbers Keegan did in college now that the system is built around him. 24 and 8 shooting nearly 50% from 3pter.

Great. I'm not going to go on about who they shouldve drafted instead (particularly Ivey who I just see as a scoring guard without much BBIQ, he'll be good but I won't kick myself about him). He was consensus top 5 (Keegan), and most of the board wanted him, and our GM who I respect liked him.

But true he is concerning me. I mean, many of us thought he was an all star caliber type player, and now the focus in three weeks has shifted to getting him to be a solid role player.

But you win some you lose some. Huerter may be better than expected, along with Monk, long term.

There is no sugarcoating the bad month he's had but it's not doom and gloom.

You mention 15/7/3, well Keegan is an 11/3.5/1 guy even with this slump- not that far off from where you want him to be. Keegan has also scored in double digits more times than not.

IMO there is no reason to be alarmed because Keegan has a good head on his shoulders and we've all seen the talent.

Remember Haliburton had a slow start his rookie season 10/5/2.5 his first 17 games.

With ridiculous efficiency for a big, rebounding, defense. He's not excelling at an area of the game. The advanced stats are bad for an older rookie. And as concerning it looks like he is playing without fire.

Taking a step back, we were hoping for a ROY campaign, and he is producing something for which the fans are clamoring to bench him.

Our good start to the season is masking this guy not meeting expectations whatsoever for an older 4th pick

But I appreciate that you always find a silver lining! happy thanksgiving
