So been thinking a lot about needs and we can and cannot afford. Here is my 2 cents to add talent without killing us

Player or players plus 13 for Kuzma (prob includes Harrison)

Sign Jonas Valanciunas if possible as a backup or to play alongside Sabonis at times (mostly for rebounding)

Resign Monk

Possibly add Tobias Harrison on veteran min or a smaller short term if possible as an enforcer on the 2nd unit.. not the best option but we might be able to slide in and sign as a backup to 3-4 (rebounding and just a physical presence)

Thoughts on these 4 ideas

The Kuzma deal seems like a possibility with how the FO views him.

I don't see JV sitting out of international commitments just to sign a vet min deal. And personally, I'm not a fan of bringing him in as he won't be maximised here.

Monk signing. There's nothing left for the Kings to do. It's all on Monk's end now. The offer is there, its now up to him whether he accepts it or not. I have a good feeling he will take it.

Tobias Harris will get pretty decent offers. I can't see him signing for less than $20m per. He might have been overpaid for this latest contract, but he is a damn good NBA player.
He will be starting for whoever signs him and if the Kings signed him he would be the starting 4. Fox and Sabonis were the only players on the Kings to have a better season than Harris.

Now if you can get Tobias to sign with Sacramento at all, you go ahead and do it, the Kings won't be attracting a better player on the FA market.
