Game 3 - Kings (0-2) vs Blazers (1-2)

Post#1 » by codydaze » Tue Oct 29, 2024 2:29 am

Traveling for work this week so I'm going to be slacking on game thread duties and posting but this is a game we should win easily if we are who we think we are.

Also OT: Go Yankees! Need them to gut this out and fight back.

Blazers length affecting Kings’ flow.

Also the non-Sabonis minutes looked ugly.

Leads one to ask what was going on with him the last year and a half, but today was the player we gave a conditional first for

Kevin had a good game. He had active hands and was moving laterally well.

Kevin had a good game, and I'm one to admit it. But this is the Blazers. Doesnt change the fact that he can't hang with most of the good teams. We are going to see that every time we play okc, Minnesota, phoenix, GS, Dallas. Portland literally doesn't have a single offensive player to put the pressure on him.

But enough of that. Was at the game. Great team win. Sabonis came out strong. Fox and Monk had huge moments, huerter hit his 3s, keon brought energy, derozan stopped any run they had, Keegan is literally becoming one of the best all around glue guys in the league. makes a nice impact defensively and on the boards even when he's not doing much offensively.

This game was a should win, and they lost a lot of those last year. Optimistic we come out of this first 10 looking solid.
