Game 8: Kings (4-3) vs Raptors (2-6)

Post#1 » by codydaze » Wed Nov 6, 2024 9:26 pm

Kings come back home after a short road trip and looking to get one back against the one team that gave us an L on that road trip. I'm expecting a blowout win tonight.

Oddly enough, I expect a let down game and tonight could be it...

We typically lose the 1st game back after a road trip.

Keegan is absolutely incredible. Hes everywhere and his activity on the boards is amazing to watch.

Keon getting the closeout for his defense incredible.

Fox with a bad shooting night but active defensively, and getting to the line.

Sabonis triple double and derozan doing derozan things when needed the most.

Happy about this W!

Keegan is a dog

Am I the only one who thinks keon team defense is reckless? He’s over helping which is leading to guys having to rotate and some times east shots

Was close for too long but broke it open with a great fourth quarter performance.

Keegan with another great night, the way he's attacked the glass this year has been huge. I like him looking to attack more too, it's a nice development in his game, but I would also like to see him being more aggressive in just pulling the three at times. Seems to me like a lack of confidence in the shot so hopefully he can have a night where he's just lights out because it's sort of a feedback loop right now. He's clearly a very capable scorer, just need to see him continue to build confidence that he can get buckets in any way he wants.

close for too long but pulled it out nicely. I still think we win that other Raptors game if Huerter plays, so nice play recently

DDR has been fantastic for us.

Hopefully our FT percentage isn't temporary, quite nice to see this improvement early on.

Exceeding my expectations just a tad so far.

His activity on the glass is going to be game changing for us. He just has a knack for knowing where those long shots are going to fall. So exciting to see the progression. Not worried about a cold start from 3.

Fingers are crossed after the last few years of terrible ft shooting. Derozan teaching fox his ways lol

Yeah I'm not worried about him being cold either, I want to see him be more aggressive with the catch and shoot threes. He's been putting the ball on the floor a lot or giving a ball fake when he has the space to shoot, and again I like him being aggressive attacking the rim but I want to see him let it fly a bit more too.
