Game 27: Kings (13-13) vs Nuggets (13-10)

Kings will begin a 5 game homestand tonight against Denver to try and get back to over .500. We have generally played Denver pretty well and the rest of this home stretch (LAL twice, Indiana and Detroit) are winnable games so a win tonight would be huge.

Lyles and Huerter will remain out and according to James Ham, Keegan has been added to the injury report with ankle soreness so he may be out tonight as well.

I’m not going to put this on Keegan’s absence, as I’m not a huge fan, but this wasn’t good..

I could go down the list, and talk about how Fox doesn’t influence winning much at all, but then, at this point, I’d have to begin saying the same thing about the teams best player Domas..

And now that we are saying it about pretty much the roster night in/night out, I’m ready to discuss Brown. The team should be better on paper

Keon ellis is a defensive star. I'm done with Mike kicking him out of the rotation! He has earned 25mpg minimum!! HE IS A BEAST

Having Colby and Keon out there is fun to watch. Young athletic guards getting after it defensively. Exciting last 24 mins. Fox is having his way!

Thought we should have gone to him early when AG was feasting. Jones hasn't been great on defense or anything but thought he could have matched his energy at least.

Rough drop by demar. Was a great play call. Still can't be in that spot. Need to call timeouts sooner. Need to not fall asleep to start games.

If they play with the intensity they had the last 36 mins they should do well this next 5 but man that one hurts

Fox is back to low efficiency basketball for the year, and his defensive numbers are down. I go back and forth on his contributions to winning, but I’m not paralyzed at his free agency

Brutal loss

Didn’t like how they lost the 10 point lead under 3 min to go in the 4th

Like the fight after being down 23 in the 1st but it has been a common occurrence. The Kings always look lackadaisical after a couple of days of rest. What are they doing on their rest days?

Random note: I got stuck watching the Nuggets feed. They are actually decent. There is a woman commentator named Kayte for them and she is literally 1000% better than the Kings’ Kayte lol
