Game 55: Kings (28-26) @ Pelicans (12-42)

Post#1 » by codydaze » Fri Feb 14, 2025 1:13 am

Part 2 of the B2B in NOLA. Zion is out tonight who has been the main culprit killing us so hopefully we take care of business and not go down to the wire again.

Keegan with the airball three to lend a hand in that Pels run, with the bad inconsistent offense (1-4 from threes is it)

There is that run.... the pels aren't good without Zion (but are solid with him so those two wins were solid)

Malik still an eyesore at pg, hopefully some of this is ironed out once we start playing some of the real teams

Zach looks much better tonight

This is LaVine, bonafide all star all around talent tonight - scoring shooting passing, all around guard. Winning players out here snatching victory from the jaws of defeat with Domas and Deebo

Lavine finally has a game where he has it going and we iso Deebo where he dribbles for 18 seconds on two straight possessions down the stretch?

We're watching two teams see who can out bad-basketball the other. Let's get 5 more minutes of it!

Terrible loss but not all that surprising. We've gone down to the wire with them twice and went down to the wire against a Dallas team decimated with injuries who literally had zero centers for like 75% of the game. This defense is so bad that if our offense is not flawless, we will either lose or be in tight games every night.

Horrible loss. They have a dozen wins. No Zion and we let McCollum take over. Without Sabonis this team is a joke.

Yeah, this team should have been blown up after the Fox trade.

The construction of this team is still weird.

Absolutely zero reason to drop this game against the Pelicans. But Kangz found a way to lose.

Mavs just beat the Heat/Warriors/celtics in a similar state... that win was fine..
