Game 72: Kings (35-36) vs Thunder (59-12)

Post#1 » by codydaze » Wed Mar 26, 2025 1:01 am

Kings fell below .500 for the first time since the beginning of February after last night's loss to Boston and will face off against the top team in the West on the second night of a B2B. Malik Monk remains out for this one as we look to get back to an even record.

Keegan a stud
Keon my guy
Laravia is a low end starter in this league

Lavine trash hero ball. Whopping -31
Sabonis should shut down rest of the season.
I hope this is the last 10 games I see derozan on my team

Doug, I wanted it to work with him... but im not seeing the pulse..
Even as a Domas fan I haven't been feeling the impact of late.
Derozan is obviously a bench piece..
Don't know what to pay Keegan this summer, given what he has shown offensively..
have our work cut out with up to keep keon and larvavia

Something is going on with Zach, but the lack of motor if there is nothing going on would be scary.. Still understand what McNair was going for with him, but man show me something more going into next season

obviously nothing to learn from this, you exist, you get smacked on a b2b by the thunder, but im not sure once we start playing the other games my opinion will change or the coach should come first... I always thought that would be first before Vivek would in a million years rebuild

still think there is a team with monk/keon/zac/keegan/domas/ and hopefully solid bench that Vivek will not play ping pong balls with... its just a paper lineup that you need to see with a different coach first... injuries, Christie's refusal on the lineup (hell, even as someone who doesn't mind zac/demar minds them starting), murderous schedule, lack of cohesion... dont know, but im just guessing what Vivek will do

but I, like Vivek has been, am now not championship for die at all. just want to see something lol. maybe im just giddy that fox is gone for once..

You gotta give it to the guys for the effort. That's probably the most frustrating thing with this team. The effort level is either great or bad. And the Kings' bad is worse than just about any other team in the NBA. You need an average effort level of around 80% with the good games at 100% rather than 100% for the good and 30% for the bad and that's the 2 levels.

There is a distinct lack of an offensive game plan which is concerning too. It seems to me the team wants to go for the POs, but if you actually are going for the POs you would think an offense of you hit your last one so have the next one isn't a good strategy.

Oh, Sabonis trade request incoming. And we know there isn't a whole lot of value there.
