Game 73: Kings (35-37) vs Blazers (32-41)
It's put up or shut up time for the Sacramento Kings as they face off against a young, hungry Blazers team who has already beat them twice this season. As I said in the Standings Watch thread, I believe we need to go 4-1 in this next 5 game stretch to have good confidence in securing a play-in berth and that starts tonight. Lose this one and you are at a severe and legitimate threat of missing it. Keeping the pick wouldn't be the worst thing as a tradeable asset, at worst, for this summer but it would not be a great look to have made win now moves at the deadline, moving on from Fox, and to miss the Play-In completely.

Monk is out again. Hoping the Kings are just making sure it doesn't keep going through the team.
Sabonis had a pretty poor game by his standards last time they met and he has been back from injury enough time now so he needs to lead the Kings to a W.
If they play even close to their potential they should win by double digits. Which Kings team will show up?

Good game from zach but he's confirming the allegations lol.
Sucks badly against good teams, then absolutely roasts bad teams while shooting 90% from the field increasing that "efficiency"
Seems like this is what we will be next year. Beat bad teams, lose to good teams, .500 ball club at best

Not sure Monk off the bench is the answer, but fully healthy still looks a low level playoff team which is concerning for our pick
Team just had schedule losses the last month
Keep the players out (never would happen). Dumb org

Even if Monk is questionable off the bench at least Keon starts even if Zach/Deebo are questionable together starting (Doug may be replaced, that will happen before tanking)
What to pay Keegan? Happy for his continued efficiency but it’s still low level Trey Murphy stuff (of past years)
Zach, well assume hasn’t been right lately but long term something close to this is it. Just highly efficient, all around offensively, secondary star stuff

Herb Jones got 4/54 (roughly 13m AAV) and Trey Murphy got 4/112 (28m AAV) and I expect Keegan to land somewhere in between, hopefully closer to Herb value. I would be happy with anything between 4/60 and 4/80.

I'm not sure we should worry about what Keegan should get TBH. I'm more worried if he will ever get to play for a franchise that is even semi competent.

Im worried about 16 words
"we picked you 4th to be a borderline all star, but your a 3/d role player who hasn't been 3ing "
