2025-2026 Preseason Thread

Let's get it going guys! Is everyone saying the right things?

Will be an interesting season. Will we be rooting for wins or losses a few months into the season? We should have either augmented or torn down, but I will give this mediocrity a chance to grow on me and be excited for the start

Rough start…. Overreactions to one preseason game?

I think I was possibly for augmenting to end last season, but everything might need to go. Domas and Zach, aside from the kids, looked to be the only solid talents but they might not be carrying anything. As a Domas fan, I might need to say everything was built around him just right for that original beam team.

Why are we starting the same lineup with Schroeder? How does Doug not understand not to start Lavine and DDR by now?

Schroeder, in Kings land we’ve all been trying to be in the FIBA and Pistons end of the season run clouds, but..

What if this is as good as it gets for Keegan? Just a non aggressive role player who can’t put two good halves of basketball together? At his age we are past the borderline all star dreams, or what we wanted with the 4 pick, now it’s just about getting him to 3/5 of Trey Murphy night in and night out. No extension soon. And his lack of development has torched a lot, if he hit his borderline all star rookie ceiling the entire complexion of the org is changed. Brown still here and competitive beam team

I didn’t like how Keon looked, and with his trade insinuations I might have moved him for Kuminga if Scott really was enamored with Kuminga unlike me, given Keon’s contract situation and how it’s not automatic to keep him.

The kids looked ok, I’d like to see Nique as much as possible

Grats on the likely win tonight. Blazers 4th quarter group Billups plays are truly some of the worst basketball players I've ever seen. They're doing exactly what they did against the Warriors. Core Blazer team is strong when they play, this 3rd stringer group they found at the local YMCA.

Starting lineup a lot more efficient in this game (baby steps). Malik still doesn’t look good.

Raynaud apparently starting in place of the injured Keegan in practice. Certainly interesting on D and O, lol. Maxime has a bag for a deep second rounder, and man it would be nice for both of these kids to hit (Nique and Maxime)

is it time to be concerned yet? I dont even know what Doug is doing, starting Saric, and I'm not feeling he's in control. Schroder been awful. Keon awful the preseason (how do you have -28 in 8 minutes - but as ive said he's more a role player that needs to feed off top end talent and he's tough off the bench with little "pop"). Domas is out here will ill fitting team

Domas out with hamstring? That would solidify an early tank for Ranadive to have to acknowledge if he's out for a period of time
