Wow. Hopefully he get his old form back... It sounds that Theus really like the small ball lineup

His projected lineup for smallball when everybody is healthy:

Beno
Bibby
Martin
Artest
Either Moore or Miller

^ We'd be at an overall disadvantage defensively every game with that wing set-up. And against certain teams offensively, or when a team possibly makes an adjustment in the game, because of the lacking size we'd have there.

I think with that line-up, it's like saying "screw defense for the rest of the season, we'll get back to it next October".

I think that line-up would not do too well, overall.

If were going to start small on a regular basis, Salmons should be in the line-up. The only small element being Artest at the 4 (which I am mixed on in a way anyway).

IMO we are going small ball if we needed too...That's what I got from the article.... I have faith in Theus regardless what we do... Imagine small ball WITH defense :D

Well, we don't need to go small in that proposed way. To me that's just an excuse to have all the best shooters on the floor, and basically dismissing the defensive side of the floor.

Hopefully I'm proven wrong in that the line-up would be more effective than not.

edit: I didn't read the article, but I was under the impression that'd be our starting line-up. Now if it's just a line-up used for stretches in games? Whatever, that's okay, assuming it'd work. Which I think it probably would.

I don't think the plan was to make it our starting 5. At least I didn't get that impression. But I'd be fine with that lineup regardless. Small ball works fine in the regular season. It's the playoffs where it just won't consistently work, but really, until we get near the playoff picture, I won't worry about that.

We better be able to score 120 points a game. Defenisvly we are screwed! We will be able to make some shots but I would like to see some D played up top..

When you read the whole article, he implied that he will use it selectively throughout the game... Eh, that's what I got from the article....I dont see what is wrong with that lineup if he will use it to their advantage IMO...

Yeah, that's okay if it's like that...

I wouldn't get it if it was the new starting five, because Theus would heavily be contradicting himself.
