Craig Smith (10 and 5 off the bench) would be a very good low post option for you guys.
Smith+2nd for Hawes?

No thanks guys. We're waiting to see if Hawes can be our C of the future. And we have enough undersized PFs as it is. Smith doesn't really do anything for us. He doesn't have the same potential Spencer does.

Not a bad trade, but it's too early to see what Hawes can do. Remember, he can't even buy beer yet.

I really like Smith in general, but not for a prospect like Hawes. He's just playing limited minutes and early in his rookie year at 19.
Unrealistic.

Wow, I'm surprised the responses haven't been angrier.
No, no, no, no, no. Smith is a nice player but his potential isn't close to Spencer's. You don't trade a 19-year-old you just drafted a few months ago for a nice former 2nd rounder.
