They just said that he had to leave during the half for "personal reasons".

Hmmm...I never knew that Jerry Reynold's birthday was the day after mine. That may explain why he's so weird.

That game was too easy. I never felt like we were going lose. Too bad this team probably wont make the playoffs, we would be a tough matchup.

Two things I noticed.

Big, small, medium, it didn't matter NOBODY on the Bombcats could gaurd Artest.

The other....BRAD WAS A BEAST!!!

Solid, needed win with New Orleans coming in

Ron and Brad were just great tonight, superb games by both of them... especially for Brad! They pretty much were the offense. Ron's passing ability and efforts being displayed (as is most of the time :) ). And, just so cool to see a Kings player get 20 rebounds, and a 20/20 game.

I definitely liked how Mike differed offensively, and got his points within the flow of the game. Basically, he's been fine there since coming back. Maybe Charlotte defended him effectively, but I didn't notice, wasn't paying attention to that.

The defense was solid, and impressive at times.

Garcia was off offensively, but still brought that energy and defense, impressive blocks! Key contributions in the 2nd half.

I was wondering what happened to Salmons, hopefully everything will be okay with the personal situation.

Surprised how well we rebounded

Surprised how off J-Rich was, and was literally a jumpshooter aside from that one dunk

Gerald for the majority was also a jumpshooter, but had much more success hitting his j. Just outside of some various dunks, couldn't diversify much.

Emeka started off pretty strong overall, but was fairly quiet in the 2nd half.. missed some easy shots. May of gotten into foul trouble. As a whole just wasn't as he usually is, and has been recently.

So do we know what happened with John? Hopefully it all worked out, we need him to get ready to take the starting job back.

^He's not taking the starting job from Artest or Martin so unless a trade goes down he'll continue to come off the bench.

22/21/5/3 on 67% from the field, just wow Brad.
Kevin was 2-9 for 7 or 8 points in the 1st half, but finished with 22 on 8-19.
This Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde team will continue to drive us crazy I guess.

I kind of think that was what he was implying.

Really a nice win. No real complaints here. Just solid ball through and through.

Realistically, I just don't see where Ron will be traded. Things have to change and be more legitimate before that can be realistic.

The article on the game in the Bee this morning said that his wife, who is pregnant and due in May, was having some problems. He left the game to be with her. Apparently everything is alright now, so it is unlikely he will miss any time.

See recent story about Petrie willing to move Artest before the deadline. Pretty obvious that LS was implying that John needs to be ready if/when Ron is traded.

Yeah, I think Ron WILL be traded before the deadline, this, John needs to be ready to take his starting spot.

That was there in the summer too with Petrie, but the deals weren't right - the deal has to be right. The deals haven't been right yet.

Definitely a legit possibility, but things have to change in the offers for it to be so.

Then of course there's the other team likely having to take on Kenny Thomas' contract.

======

Something that's not pointed out too much, and should be more, is boxing out for another team-mate to get the rebound.

Speciically, Ron does this regularily and is one of the intangibles, things in his game that doesn't get recognized much. Saw him do it at least four times (and more that I didn't see) in this game. It doesn't show up in the stat sheet, but it's an important fundamental.
