I'd sacrifice Brad for an above-average package.
Ron and KT, is pretty much a siamese twin situation.

Well what is the cap number for next season? Or whats at least a fair guess.
Shamsports.com has Sacramento at just over $53 million for next season. But the team will need to sign its draft pick, Kevin Martin, and Beno Udrih to contracts for next season.
On a sidenote, this may not be liked...but if I ran the Kings I would be looking into buyouts for Kenny Thomas and Shareef Abdur-Rahim.
Rahim brings little to the team and if hes injured, its just wasted space. Kenny Thomas sucks. How can you have only shot 5 free throws in 281 minutes when you are a power forward?

Until Brad Miller is moved the Kings will look the same. I told you he was the one that needed to go 1st because his deal (compared to Bibby and Artest) is the worst or hardest to move.

True, but that's $53million assuming that Ron doesn't opt out, which he will, so it's not so tight--Martin is already signed to a 5 year $55million extension.
Buying out Kenny has largely been discussed on this board, and I think that we'd be happy if we could buy him out. Nobody around here will argue against Kenny sucking. In fact, sucking is probably how many would put it nicely.
Buying out SAR wouldn't be totally wise at this point IMO. He may still come back strong from surgery next year (if he doesn't we can just buy him out later) and if he does, then we may be able to get expirings for him.

yes, but that 53 mil figure doesnt include martins new extension either. and you would figure its somewhere in the range of 10 mil or so (depending of how the raises are distributed). that figures to put the kings right around 55 mil come the offseason (if no further moves are made, and artest opts out and is renounced). and 55 mil is most likley going to be less than the MLE worth from the new cap, so the MLE is all the kings can expect to spend, barring any further moves.

Oh I know that, and I wasn't trying to say that we will have cap space (unless certain other deals are made), I was referring to the luxury tax.

We Shouldnt have paid Kevin Martin so much money.Maybe 6million, maybe 7 million, but, 11,000,000 for the next 5 years?

Elite scorers don't come cheaply. And none of them come as cheaply as you suggested. That's just ludicrous.

We didn't get Martin for a bargain, but we didn't 'overpay' him like a Larry Hughes or Michael Redd type deal. 9-11 million is about right for a 25 ppg guy
