We are 3rd in the East and just pasted Detroit by 20. We want another big, but clearly we do not NEED one. This looks like it will end in a stalemate. Orlando wants some compensation for taking Miller's contract. Orlando has no interest in Douby. Orlando will not take back Kenny Thomas. I think the Magic would do expirings along with JJ and rights to Fran or a 1st. I think the question will be if Sacto will do that deal.

Because you beat Detroit in a regular season game? Like, seriously, nice win, but Orlando does need another big to compete. There is no way we should have to give up Cisco with Brad.

Exactly. I know Detroit is a good team and all but it's 1 game. Hell, look what the Pistons did against the Knicks a few weeks ago? They shot 30.7% from the field. Did that game suddenly mean the Knicks had a dominant defense or were a good team? Of course not.

Brad makes a LOT of sense for Orlando, San Antonio and even Detroit.

Bingo. Great win for us tonight but were not going anywhere without another big. A guy like Miller who can pass and hit mid range jumpers would be a perfect fit. Im hoping this is a legit rumor and not jsu some BS. Id love to have Miller here.

FUHGETABOUT IT! Garcia is STAYING. Get used to it. Brad for Expirings/1st is a rip off in its own sense.

Yes and no. As nice as it would be to get rid of Miller's contract, I am SCARED to see Hawes playing 25-30 minutes a game.

Hmm, this rumor sounds interesting...So, the Kings are looking to rebuild after this...Assuming that they trade Miller... If we trade Miller, I pretty much guarantee you guys that our offense will look like crap...Miller is THAT significant in the offense role... Eh, couple days to go for the deadline. It will be interesting, indeed...

Bogans actually plays...so if he is traded, then JJ would probably play more... so they need someone to replace JJ's spot on the bench

Hope he's wrong because if the kings haven't even been putting him out there in trade talks then they're complete morons.

I did a little calulation and have an idea of how much money we should have to spend on a free agent if this trade goes down. My number also factors in Ron Artest opting out and Kevin's new pay check.

We should be around 12.7 million under the cap. This kind of money could let us sign a second tier star.

If we draft well this summer and we use this money on a good young secon tier star then we could possibly be a force in short amount of time.

Here's another idea.

Mikki Moore

for

(expirings of Orlando's choice)

Mikki stops taking up everybody else's minutes, and we get a little more cap space next year.

Dumping Brad in this way could make sense. Sending Garcia with him could be horrible, unless the Kings have no real reason to want to extend him. Why they would, I have no idea. If it's Miller/Garcia Petrie may have lost his mind.

And dumping our 3 best players to blow our cap space on a "2nd tier star" is pretty stupid. We need to go the youth route for awhile. Keep Brad (unless we can dump him without setting us back youth wise), and trade Ron. I don't like the idea of dumping Bibby AND Brad, and letting Ron walk just so we can sign a guy like Arenas or whoever else is out there with that space.

I don't even see why Garcia's in the picture. I'd be disappointed if he goes in the deal with Brad, and not a solid package is returned.
