Fazekas!!!

Post#1 » by KM44 » Tue Feb 19, 2008 11:42 pm

He got waived by the Mavs so they could make the kidd trade work, and he would be amazing for the kings. he was the 34th pick of the draft and he's a 6'11 scorer. I can't believe we have a chance to pick him up. what will it take to get him?

or a poor man's dirk. He's a lot more mobile than lefrenz, so I really think that if he had the opprotunity, (with the kings) he could really take off.

I wouldn't mind getting him. I liked him coming into the draft, and was one of the guys I would fo liked to see us pick if we got a R2 pick.

Assuming he'd stick around, I think he'd be a solid role-player off the bench. Would add versatility to the front-court and offense, help with rebounding and using his size around the paint.

All that would be needed is the PF that would complement Spencer.

that would be quite a PF combo later on, Williams-Fazekas, post-shooter. he would add a ton of versatility to the kings.

That would be awesome. I am huge Nevada fan, and would love to see Fazekas on the Kings.

There is no way we can get Fazekas (even though I like the idea). When cuts like this go down, there is usually a behind closed doors agreement (like I suspect we have with Justin williams) that after the trade induced waiting periods, somebody else will get cut and the player will re-sign on a base contract with their original team.

thats whats expected, but dallas is looking at Williams, so maybe we could to a little hold up and see what happens. I would much rather have Fazekas than Williams

Doesn't Dallas have to wait 30 days to sign Fazekas? He barely got any time, I would think he wants to go somewhere else.

Not me. J Will has such an impact on the game. When he is playing things just seem to happen for the better.

I don't see Fazekas as being anything better than a Songaila and that's best case scenerio. Although Songaila is a solid player I would rather roll the dice with J Will and the skills he brings to the table. His offense will improve with time. And if it doesn't who cares? He will still grab like 239,767,831 rebounds a game.
