Yeah I keep on hearing these completely inane comments by the announcers. Maybe it's the connection?Smills91 wrote:-= original quote snipped =-
I guess they're watching a completely different game than us, one where it's Brandon Roy 1 on none.
Except when he's misses, then he was fouled by the air conditioning.

Pre Game Stats:

The heat are 5-22 @ Home, i will be very surprise if we lost this game.
Pre Game Analysis:

I think hes better then Lebron, and he might be the closest player to Kobe,
in terms of game impact and overall talent.
My Take on The Heat:I don't condone tanking, but this team desperately need a high draft pick.
Preview:
The Miami Heat are accustomed to beating the Sacramento Kings, but it

sorry kings fans, my father had some serious heart problems, this is why i wasn't in the mode to make games threads, hes fine now, and I'm back doing games threads.

You make the best game threads a-rod and were happy to have you here
The effort you give in making game threads is alot and way better than Mikki's effort in catching the ball......

Excellent tread as always!
That Smill's quote was AWSOME. But sense when is Brad Miller our leading scorer? o-o

This is a must win for pride alone. I think we take care of business and get the W tonight.

Heat are more athletic and playing loose - but a loss would be surprising

Great thread dude, and good to hear that your dad is feeling better. Family always comes before the internet.

Hawes will end up being way better than Noah. Noah is a Pollard while Hawes will be a Miller with a post game.

Why does Anthony always carry/use off arm EVERY game...It gets annoying...

Miller's jumpshot has been off lately.

Somehow, the Heat have scored 58 points and it's only halftime....
Defense?!

Defense?!

I hate this team when they get to the damn habit of playing at the same level of a opponent. (Bad teams)....

Pretty poor 1st half...
Shelden not playing at all is a damn travesty [/Charles Barkley]
We sure could of use his interior presence for a stretch or two...
At least Wade has been kept in check (scoring-wise, which is all that can really be done)
My man Udonis Haslem showing why he's such a good role-playing big man

Im not surprised. Heat are better than their record

I think we have a better team than you guys do even if the record doesn't show it.
Our starting 5 is better IMO at SG, PF. We are equal at SF.
You guys have an advantage at PG and C. But on a night like tonight we are better at those 2 positions so far. Jwill and Blount are capable players on any given night.
It should be a good second half. I'm not writing in here to bother any of you, the Heat board is just dead so I wanted to share some opinions with other NBA fans.

I'm not surprised they're playing well, they have a bouncy, mobile team with several capable guys, and are playing free-minded, but I am surprised were not playing some better.
The turnovers are (Please Use More Appropriate Word), regardless of why they happened
Another positive is Spencer's 1st half... confident and was a significant factor
Shelden has to play in the 2nd half. Has his defensive ability and size been forgotten about? Let's not be strange like that. I want to see him get some run in the 2nd half.

You cant be serious about SF. There's not enough space to fill for the # of > I'd have to use for Artest and Dorell Wright.
Edit- NVM. Thought they started Wright and Marion at the Forwards not Haslem/Marion. Either way Artest>Marion.

Ron is the only one being aggressive out there and going to the basket.
Get some damn defense on the interior in there with Shelden.

Ummm ok this game sucks. I thought we would come out and play a little better after getting spanked by Orlando.
