the youngest player to reach 500 block, great both way player, he just need to improve his jump shot, and his one and one defense.

My Take on The Atlanta Hawks:Very athletic team that lacks fundamentals.

The Atlanta Hawks are hoping Mike Bibby can lead them to the playoffs for the first time in nearly a decade, but so far, he hasn

Leaning to a win here, Hawks can definitely win, too, though.

The least I'd like to see is play better than the last two games, even if a loss.

Just play Shelden a lot...that's all I ask tonight.

I think at this point its pretty clear that Reggie has been informed by upper managment to evaluate talent and play the young/new guys ahead of winning the games. Which is great we arent going to make the playoffs. And currently picking 10 again sucks. We need a top 5 pick to quicken-up this rebuilding process. Lets go Douby, Cisco, John and S. Williams.

Hawks fan here.
Really nice game thread, good job!

Here's hoping for a nice game w/o injuries. We can't afford to lose any more players this season.

Hey, hey...

I wonder what Shelden is thinking right now?

God man, get some damn defense and size around that paint that's consistent and significant (same goes for the future in the starting line-up!).

Ron Artest doing a very good job of drawing attention and getting guys shots (like usual)... been a main reason why we've gotten back into this game.

Surprised no Shelden, though, so far. Certainly couldn't hurt to play him for a short stretch.

Good way to end the half, despite giving up a ton of points.

Kevin's been too quiet so far, and not that aggressive. Salmons and Garcia have come in picked it up for him, but Kevin needs to get his game on. Surprising considering the last two games, you think he'd be better focused. Wonder if Kevin's been being defended well? I haven't payed attention.

Anthony Johnson with 3 assists off the bench is nice

Ron Artest is making our offense go right now. It really boggles my mind about how certain Kings fans dont see how valuable he is to this team. He's dominating the Hawks in the post, and now that the Hawks are double teaming he's swinging the ball out which might not always lead to an assist, but leads to someone finding the open man.

Bibby was tearing our defense apart in the 1st quarter, but we got him under control in the 2nd. Beno has to do a better job of keeping Bibby in front of him, there should be no reason for Bibby to be blowing by him like he was doing.
