Artest Fined For Comments

Here is the link. I actually agree with Ron. I mean someof the lineups Reggie was using were horrible. But Artest should not go to the media with this stuff, so I agree with the fine. LOL at Napear saying he would sit Ron this next game and if it were up to him he would cut him. He thinks we are better off without Ron. I understand his point, but do not agree. We are terrible without Ron. Also, I laughed at how Moore was fined a while ago for his comments about wanting to be more invovled with the offense. Geez the guy cannot hang onto the ball, he is lucky IMO to even be on the court.

I have no problem with the fine. I also agree that Ron may have had some valid points, but he needs to address those concerns with Reggie and not with Sam Amick. I see this as a minor error fueled by frustration, nothing more. And most certainly nothing that would warrant sitting Ron or even contemplate dumping him (typical Grant overreaction based on his simple-minded bias). Reggie and Ron can easily move forward after this.

Well atleast Reggie gave Ron a nice plate of STFU with that fine. Why can't he ever learn to think before he speaks and stuff? You can't throw teammates under the bus or diss your coach for his decisions IMO, well not to the media anyway. That's not acceptable. I actually agree Ron should have to come off the bench for a game though.

Ah, so my question is answered: Grant's still stupid about Ron off TV. I thought he may of improved as a whole, as I noticed little to no suttle iffyness from Grant this season on TV relating to Ron.

Grant Napear in a way, is soft.

KIE said basically how I feel about this.

I don't like or respect Grant at all....he is the most biased person towards the maloofs/kings and against artest ever. Before Peja got here, he said on the air that he would move or quit or something like that, if Artest actually ended up here. Since day 1, Grant has hated Artest.

Well, Maloof Sports and Entertainment signs his paycheck. He IS a propaganda mouthpiece for the organization. Don't expect him not to show an obvious bias towards the Maloofs and the Kings organization (that's what he gets paid for). As for his bias against Artest...well...it really just proves that he's an idiot.

Ah...so Ron is the delusional one. That explains it.

Grant Napier appears to have a bias against ANY African American basketball player who's had any run in with anything. If Brad Miller were black you'd here:

"I don't know Jerry, you can't keep barking at the official and expect to get calls. The play is over! You need to just shut up and play basketball!"

This is what we get:

"Brad Miller better be careful over there otherwise he's gonna...a technical foul has just been called on Brad Miller. Boy Jerry this puts the Kings in a difficult situation..."

I haven't liked Grant Napier since he came through my job when I worked at U-Haul. He was looking over his shoulder like he was going to get jumped. The way I saw it was you're renting your own moving van Grant...you either are that cheap, or that broke. I was the only one that recognized him anyway. He just came off elitist and arrogant. I know the producer of HPL. Some people who did work on the show have the same opinion of him (that he's arrogant for no good reason).

This is pretty much exactly why I said that we should wait until we're mathematically out of the playoffs to really focus on developing the younger guys with increased playing time. Otherwise it just sends the wrong message to your guys.
