A great pickup by the Rockets. They will LOVE Williams in Houston...This is one of the few brainfarts that Petrie has made. We waived Lue thus creating a open roster. So, we should have pick up Williams but eh...there is the whole salary issue but yeah... I was high on Williams and still is...A great rebounder/shot blocker... *sighs*

Good move by Houston. He'll keep your bench nice and warm, and I'm sure if you ask him nice enough, he'll grab a cup of gatorade for ya.

Spencer Hawes was our 10th pick and at 19 he has a good potential just needs to get stronger.....Justin Williams is a hustle type player who like to leave his feet trying to contest shots but he has a very low basketball IQ and gets lost in team plays....Rockets will like him though because of his energy.

Yeah we always do overate Justin, and no one is more cheif then I... but I can't help regret our decision. Best of luck to him in Houston.

Do you watch Basketball? Seriously. What the hell kind of question is that, and I'm a BIG fan of Justin Williams' game.

So Houston fans finally get Justin. They wanted him badly last year when he was floating out in the wind as a FA.

Good for them, and good for Justin he gets a spot somewhere. Doubt he's going to have much more of a role there thna he did with us, though.

Learning from Deke, Yao, Sikma will be great.

I don't particularly like the situation for Justin, honestly. He's just a Landry clone and won't get much time there.

Landry's more polished as a player and not as athletic as Justin, and differences in size as well. Both are different in the way of complementary big men.

regardless of minutes played

hmm, you have a lottery pick 19 years old with a nice offensive game

you have a project big man that can rebound and jump that wasn't even drafted

its just more of a case of waiving a lottery pick over a an undrafted player that never really showed that much

Finally something that will end the fantasy that the Kings would resign him for the rest of the season.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.
