Sigghhh...Tyronn Lue

Post#1 » by RIPskaterdude » Sat Mar 15, 2008 2:28 am

Why didn't we keep or at LEAST try to trade this guy for a 2nd round pick?

Since signing with Dallas, he has made a better impact than AJ has since we've TRADED for him. First game...3 for 4, 7 pts in 15 minutes..

Now he has 13 pts in 13 minutes (5 for 5) in his 2nd game. Meanwhile, AJ has a total of 15 points in 11 games for us. 15 points!! Granted, he's not getting tons of minutes and has only taken 19 shots total..but what was the reasoning of keeping AJ and getting rid of Lue?

:dontknow:

The Kings didn't trade FOR Lue...they moved Bibby's contract for expirings (Lue being one of them) and a young prospect. Doubtful he would have gotten the minutes to produce...and if he did I would be bitching about Theus taking minutes away from Beno.

He was never going to be of any use to the Kings. Good for him making the best of the opportunity he's gotten in Dallas.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Johnson has been off offensively, but defensively he's been adequate

Strange because AJ's not that old and is a better offensive player than he's shown with us.

Not surprised Lue's helping Dallas off the bench, he can play. Injuries have kept him off the court a lot the last year, though. I don't mind at all how our usage of him went.

We have Beno... good job for Lue, but he doesnt deserve play on this team. I'd rather have Douby or John play point.
