JJ

Post#1 » by GMcapable » Thu Apr 17, 2008 10:33 pm

So what do you guys think? Could JJ be a good fit for us? Maybe trade Salmons for JJ straight up or something. I think he still has a good chance of being a good role player if he gets a shot to play consistant minutes. Plus Reggie for all his downfalls seems like he has the ability to get the most out of people and Redick needs a coach that will drive him to be better. Plus if we get him the expectations that were there in Orlando as a high pick will be gone. So he can be himself and play free like at Duke.

IMO.

Too similar to Douby IMO.

Co-signed. Atleast Douby can dribble the ball. Redick was a 6 inch shorter Peja more or less, and he doesn't shoot it like Peja either. He sucks.

I dont think they are really alike at all. First of all JJ is a pure shooter. Doesnt have much handles doesnt play very good def. and doesnt penetrate well. But probably one of the purest strokes in the game. Douby is more of a creator and play maker and plays much better DEF so I guess I wouldhave to agree that Douby is better than JJ I just dont think they are similiar and could both be used in different ways for us.

JJ will always have a place in the league as 12th guy on a team because he can shoot. we have no need for him. he sucks at everything else
