Big man coach....
So...we've heard the Maloofs talk about adding a Big man coach to the coaching staff to help develop Hawes/Williams. Now the question remains, who would you like to see fill that role? Ideally, Vlade, but I don't see him wanting to come back to the States. So....who would you pick to coach Hawes/Williams(other young bigs)?

Malone? Really.......
How about Hakeem, or Kareem
I know this may sound crazy but I think he would make a good coach.
Webber
Boy, you sure do dream big.

Kareem is already tied up, but Hakeem may be worth at least calling, although I suspect that that also wouldn't be likely.
I think, if nothing else, we'll wait after the draft to hire someone. If we do draft a big, I think the new coach may largely depend on specifically what our bigs need to work on. With Spencer specifically, I think more than anything, he just kind of needs to learn more of the ins and outs of the game from a big mans perspective, and in that respect, I think any guy that was a good veteran player can help out. Other than that, it really does seem like Spencer doesn't have all that much to work on as far as skills. The guy already ha a buttload of post moves. His biggest problems right now seem to mostly stem from his age. As he matures physically, he'll be able to hold position more effectively in the post, and all of those baby hooks and up-and-unders won't be in such awkward places (and thus should go in more), and as he matures mentally, he won't feel so obliged to try to be an all-star right this second, and will be more patient down low.
As for Chris as the coach, I would be thrilled, but I don't think he wants to move into coaching quite yet. Like ICMTM said, he looks great at the TNT desk.

I just threw up a little in my mouth after THAT association. Yuck.
I can see the headlines now:
"Kings Hire Statutory Rapist To Fill Void on Coaches Bench."
Whatever I can do to make you vomit...that's my motto.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

I really, really like the idea of having Chris Webber coaching.
Spencer: So coach, do you have any pointers?
Walton: Spencer Hawes--some of the most impressive post moves in this or any lifetime, followed by a finishing hook that would make Wilt himself tremble!
Spencer: .....'kay, so is my release high enough on it, or...
Walton: Look at the yearning for knowledge! The incredible youthful spirit from this remarkable human being!
