Chicago/Houston trade ideas

Would you guys do this?
Gordon (sign-and-trade), Nocioni, Hughes
for
B. Miller, K. Thomas, Abdur-Rahim, (plus salary fillers)
Followed by a trade with Houston?
K. Martin, J. Salmons, filler
for
McGrady
Leaving you with:
Gordon, Udrih
McGrady, Hughes, Douby
Artest , Garcia
Williams, Nocioni, Thomson
Moore, Hawes

Absolutely no way to either.
The over all impact is that we have actually about the same amount of cap space in '10 (possibly a little more), but we have a team that is no better off right now to win (in fact, quite possibly worse) and worse in the future since we're basically over all downgrading from Martin to Gordon.

No way on the 2nd trade. I wouldn't trade K$ for T Mac straight up much less add in Salmons and fillers.
The 1st trade is interesting. I like Gordon a lot and I think he would do well in our system. Even though he is a sg in a pg body if we continue to use a Princeton based offense Gordon could do well. We can run our offense through Hawes and Thompson and let Gordon be more of a scorer which is what he does best. Talent wise Kings get the better deal because Gordon is better than Miller, SAR and KT put together (since KT and SAR don't even play), plus we get Noc, I could care less about Hughes. The problem is our frontcourt is too thin and we would be overloaded even more at the wings. If we could trade Noc, Artest, or Salmons and get a center in return then I would be all for it.

Definite No, on the second trade...
With the first, I would be much more willing to do that. Still not 100% if I would do that deal..

McGrady just has too many health issues and it's probably not his fault but his teams have not been successful in the playoffs.
In the first deal, I just don't like Nocioni's deal, too many years left on his deal.

With Nocioni, it is a declining contract - so it is not as bad as it seems. It is just a contract that is only 4 more guaranteed years.
Ben Gordon can be obtained but his salary demands may be an issue.
Hughes contract expires in the magical year 2010.
All those guys - and Hinrich - are available but I doubt the Bulls move all of them. I dont think they are actively shopping any of them (except maybe Hughes)

Oh wow, great point to convince Houston on such a marvelous deal.
Sacto thinks Houston is stupid for not doing it, and I bet Houston thinks Sacto is stupid for even offering it.
McGrady, despite age, health, and even my hatred of his vagina filled butt, is superior to Martin even on his average days. Of all Rockes fans, I'm probably one of the few open to the idea of trading McGrady, and yet I shoot this one down at sight. Kevin Martin isn't a potential or near a franchise player, McGrady is and will be for the next few years...he's still just 28.

MgGrady hasn't really been a franchise player for a couple of years. He may just be 28, but he has a lot more wear and tear on his body than the average 28-year-old.

lol. How is anything I said rage? I find it humorous. No rage at all, just stating opinion.
Second of all, may not be created by a Sacto fan but sacto fans replied to it saying a definite no to the McGrady deal. As a Rockets fan(irrelevant to my lack of faith in McGrady) I have to support him, and I feel this deal is absolutely something the Rockets would not do.
I look like a troll to Kings fans because I dismiss this deal, get a reply implying I'm an idiot, and respond by stating why I think briefly Houston would say no? If anything, I think you are jumping to conclusions here and instigating something that wasn't really in proportion to be escalated in such a level.
Last, but not least. I highly doubt my post count, my join date would allow me to be a troll.

True, but I know he acts like he doesn't have it anymore, that he's bad etc. He's just fat & lazy. One off-season of just some solid work + taking care of his body and he'll be right at it.
You can see it when a player or team pisses him off he starts to go at it...and then it's just hell for the other team. He still has all the capabilities yet fails to utilize them at all opportunities. A new scenery can do that, but I know we would never get full value for his fatass.

I think it's more that he's just such a jump-shooter at this point in his career, that his inconsistency is going to come with it.
