It's funny that I'm writing this, cause I'm totally sick of the guy and glad he's gone.

I loved him the first year, until he started doing his "drible drible, drible drible, three" or "drive into three man triple teams and force a shot." When we GOT him, I swore nto to hold and predjedices against him for what happened in Indiana, but I got sick of him.

Reguardless, he was a excellent defender, and he did what he needed to - he wanted to win, even when many (including myself) were ready to rebuild. You can't fault the guys heart.

Ron Artest,

Thank you for your heart and determination that you bring on court every single night. When you first came to Sacramento. You gave us a light of hope. And you gave the team something to believe in. I remember when you first came here. Every game, I always looking forward at every defensive possession. I always said "Throw the ball out of bounds " to see Artest play defense. LOL You brought the water-down Kings to the playoffs. We made the Spurs think that there was a chance that an eighth seeded team could knock a first seeded team. But we gave the Spurs a run for their money. I always liked how you owned Manu in that series. Very entertaining. But at times, you were what you are, a person that had a troubled past. True, we have to put up with your baggage but it was worth it. You haven't did anything cancerous like many people would thought you would. You were just a quirky individual that wanted attention. At times, you looked like a superstar. Your efforts made us win games. Your impossible fadeaway jumpshots actually went in. Consistently! But at times, you go to "superstar" mode. Trying to do a tad too much. Which did hurt the Kings. But overall, you made the team better. You will have a place in Sacramento, you were a truly special player. Good luck Ron Artest.

All of Ron's errors were out of a desire to win (and were entirely overblown at that). The team was almost always better off with him. The guy wasn't without his faults, but the bottom line is that he played harder than anyone and had an infectious desire that brought us to the playoffs in 06 and kept us from being a laughingstock the last couple of years.

Good luck in Houston Ron. You will be missed.

Ron, I was fairly harsh on your play while in sacramento, but I want to thank you for one play that you made (I'm pretty sure it was in the first season with the kings) when you swatted kobe during a jumpshot. That and the time bibby made a half court three at the buzzer when I was at the game were probably my favorite plays as being a kings fan. Good luck in Houston and I hope you remain sane and help out houston.

Ron thanks for the toughness you displayed during your time with the Kings. The way you play defense should be in the dictionary under "D".

When watching the games I sometimes questioned your shot selection, but I never questioned your heart.
