Probably just about right--since that's a MLEish kind of deal. Nice to have that taken care of.

Very good deal, i like the fact that we are locking up our young core.

That's a very good deal, but I'm puzzled as to why would Cisco agree to it.

Geoff projected the market and made a good offer. It's a fair deal for both sides, Garcia is a versatile player who can play multiple positions, every team has at least one utility player that can play a multiple positions, I'm glad to see garcia got signed long term, and more importantly I'm glad to see the Kings are doing things to build for the future of the Team.

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

Good signing. Still might have been better to wait, but this shows they intend on using Cisco, at least I would hope. With Donte, Cisco, and Salmons we are more than a little stacked still.

I love this. Let's see if he can really improve this year.

Perhaps, Petrie is looking to move Salmons once his value sky rockets.

I think Garcia could have received more in the open market to be honest. I think it really says to me that Martin/Salmons/Garcia will be the wings and get ALL the playing time there for at least the next couple of seasons. With these 5 Mil per deals I really see trade flexibility with both Garcia and Salmons if the opportunity is there. I don't think signing anyone outright in free agency will happen but S&T's are a possibility in 2010.

Thought it'd be higher actually, good stuff

Cisco's only going to get better from last year, and especially now with an increased, more consistent oppurtunity.

Cisco signing is good news. The Kings are taking care of their young group.

It is a good deal. Just about right. Like I said in the past, Garcia will earn around/more MLE range...Glad to hear that the extension is done.

It is really nice to see this get done. It gives a tremendous amount of already set value for flexibility in mid-season trading as well if that right deal is out there. He received what is really fair market for his services at this juncture, and other GM's will recognize that. Now we see who steps up as the key performers for us as we build this young team.
