not sure if you huys already know this, or if this has been posted somewhere else, but shareef abdur-rahim was hired by the kings to be an assistant coach. i always thought he was a good player, and was pretty sad to see him retire

We shall see how it goes. We knew Kenny Thomas wasn't going to be the molding influence for Jason Thompson. I think it can work out. I believe in Reggie, and it seems like his staff is full of players that have been there before.

It was pretty obvious that Petrie wanted to go this route when SAR announced his retirement...glad to see they closed the deal.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Hopefully he will be adept at teaching the post up game to the younger players who really need to learn it in a hurry.
